I recently had one of the worst experiences at the McDonald's located on Boyd Blvd near Walmart. I went there for lunch with my daughter, and what happened has ensured I’ll never return to this location.
First, the staff were incredibly rude. When I pulled up to the second window to get my order, the man working there didn’t even bother to hand me my food properly — he just threw the bag at me without a word. This behavior was unprofessional and completely unacceptable.
When my daughter opened her Happy Meal, we discovered that her burger buns were hard as a rock and, to my absolute horror, had mold on them. How does something like this even happen at a place that serves food, especially meals targeted at children?
I immediately brought the issue to the attention of the manager, expecting at least an apology and a resolution. Instead, I was met with an incredulous attitude and a dismissive comment along the lines of, “Oh no way you got that from here.” Seriously? I had just purchased the meal less than 10 minutes prior! The lack of accountability was staggering.
Not only did the manager fail to offer a replacement or refund, but I was essentially told to leave. This level of disrespect and disregard for basic customer service — not to mention health and safety — is absolutely appalling.
I’ll be calling corporate to report this incident, and I strongly urge others to avoid this location until they get their act together. Between the rude staff, the unsanitary food, and the dismissive management, this McDonald's is an...
Read moreService was a little slow, seemed they focused more on pushing their drive through orders out quicker than the counter. BUT they did put EXTRA sauce when we asked for it on our bagel meals, most mcdonald's anymore even with the upcharge and saying that we want extra they never do it, so thank you for putting the EXTRA sauce on. We don't mind how messy they are lol. The dining room for breakfast service was fairly clean. I would say to have someone on counter, when we came in there was a line of like 5 people (which we used the electronic POS system), but if we didn't want to use that system we would have waited in a long line waiting for someone to come up and take the orders, since she was taking the orders and then going and serving the orders as well. When it's busy you've got to keep someone on counter at all times to avoid a line almost out the door. Smaller store which isn't a bad thing. Drive through set up is weird, if someone isn't paying attention whether walking across or the driver, I would be nervous of someone getting hit. Sure, they apologize very kindly and hand over the food but why should I have to check every time? I live 10 miles outside of town so returning my wrong order is not an option and today was the final straw. I gave the benefit of the doubt upon glancing in my bag before leaving the drive thru but upon arriving home find I am missing 2 Steak, Egg, and Cheese Bagels. Nothing like spending $50 on food and not getting $50 worth of food. I never leave bad reviews but having worked retail my entire life this place needs some training on second checks for completing their customer service.
