So I went through the drivethrough and ordered the following
2 happy meals with chicken nuggets 2 mcchicken sandwiches 1 plain cheeseburger 1 double cheeseburger
nothing overly complex, I pull up to the window and I get told to park in the only parking space available in the lot, cool no problem. This was at 12:15 pm
12:40 pm comes around and it's time to go inside, I collect myself, I'm already extremely upset but I remind myself, these are people too, don't get mad over food.
So in I go, I stand next to the counter and the lady who's name I did not see, but her tag said shift manager, proceeds to ignore my presence
She comes to the counter again to give another customer their meal, I say "excuse me" she ignores, I say it significantly louder "excuse me!" at this point I'm pretty pissed off, not over the food, but the service or lackthereof.
I explain that I've been waiting for nearly 30 minutes, the shift manager goes to the drive through employee and speaks with her, I didn't hear the manager speak, but I heard the drive through employee say "Oh he gave their food to someone else" as she began laughing...
So at this point, I've waited almost 30 minutes for "fast food" from people who claim to deserve $15.00 an hour, I've been ignored by their leadership (way to lead by example by the way) and I've been patient the whole time. Yet I still get treated like I'm still in the military, you're welcome by the way...
I'm beyond pissed, again not at the food...but I would never ignore someone, and if I screwed up, I would own it and apologize.
Needless to say, and not that they give a damn, if they did they would reach out to me....but I wont be...
Read moreWe visited the location by City College. Customer volume wasn't overly busy, but they gave us a table number so they could bring our food to us. We sat around the corner from the registers, as it was the only clean area, and waited awhile. When I got up to check, I found our hot food cold on the counter, and sundae melting. As I went to take it the cashier stopped me, to confirm it was mine, and I explained that we had been sitting waiting for it to be brought to us. No explanation or apology was made, but an employee followed me back to the table to collect the number (again with no response or to question if we had everything we might need). I checked the order and it was incorrect, so I headed back to the counter. I stood patiently waiting in the area where people typically stand when needing help , making eye contact with a number of the staff who decided to ignore me. It took stepping into line at the register again to get any service. I then waited for the replacement at the counter for another 15 minutes, and again, nothing. The third cashier gave me a blank look when I explained, yet again, why I was there, and it took three more employees to find out where my food was. No apology, nor offer to compensate me in any way for the mistake, wasting of my family's time, or the cold other half of my meal. Then to top it all off, my young child's experience turned uncomfortable when we had to overhear an irate customer go off about his negative service. We vowed NEVER to return to...
Read moreThe best McDonald's I've ever been to. Parking's a cinch. All the staff and even the customers here have smiles on there faces. Spring valley is a high class area, and this McDonald's clearly reflects the calibre of this community.
I came here once to only to grab a McDouble, and left an hour later after having a wonderful discussion about the nature of the human soul with Monica, one of this establishment's most outstanding employees. It is experiences like this that keep me coming back, and the good food here is definitely a bonus too!
If you're ever driving by there and have time to spare I seriously recommend just pausing for a moment to absorb the sights, the smells, the spiritual nature of this beautiful place, And hey, why not grab a McChicken while you're at it?
Ps: the food and service actually sucks here. Seriously, you can find just about anywhere else for food and service that can at least give you the correct order. For reals, they got whole comedy skits based off this chain of restaurants. I'm actually in here right now and some guy just got done approaching multiple customers for spare change. I shouldn't have to turn down someone for spare change when I can barely afford a combo here while trying to attain what I...
