IHOP — Restaurant in La Verne

It was okay until the waitress comes in asking if I want to make a $5 Donation I was like are you serious? I never went to an IHOP before where they ask for donations. Why IHOP don't donate from its own company profit $ instead of using costumer's money to bring their name up as Heroes!? LOL

They asked me to donate $5 to and they supposedly will give me back "$5 coupon" which CAREFUL **It has an EXPIRATION DATE and limitations.

Anyway, Not sure if you all know how donations work but I'll briefly explain it. 😐Corporations, companies like IHOP or any other who ask for donations only give a 10% of the entire whatever amount you donated, yup that's right ! They only donate 10% of your donation. What a scam right?!! They are scam and every company who ask people for donations are scammers too. P.S If you want to make a donation please go directly to whatever you wish to donate.

These companies keep 90% of each single donation. Sounds like thief huh? It's a thief!!. Later they appear as the kind heroes when we were the heroes, we were the one who made the donation & the contribution through IHOP of course IHOP will say they did it not you or I.

These big companies don't care about helping anyone, they use people to make the donation under IHOP account and the winner is IHOP who gets..... 1)Gets 90% of each donation, 2)They appear as the Heroes, not us. 3)Donations are the best way to invade taxes!!!!! 4)They become more famous and rich from your other...

The only time this place is good is when you dine in. Don't get me wrong the food is good ordering too but tonight kinda set me off. They missing so much of my order I ordered on doordash I called to resolve the issue maybe remake it or something and talk to a manager but the person who reply to the phone didn't seem to have a resolution to my problem.There is no way there is not a lead or a manager THERE IS ALWAYS A MANAGER OR SOME ONE IN CHARGE. They say there was not. We didn't get the correct pancakes and we ordered certain other things that where not correct and or given to us. There missing things but what we did get... Was really yummy. Cooked well and nice and warm up son delivery. I usually have good service for the most part but they haven't been doing well customer service wise for a while now. So I try to not go here as often as we like due to that. But when we crave this place we want our order right. I'm not rich so some times we spending the last of our money to enjoy a meal that some one prepared for us because I'm too stressed or tired to cook. I hate to give them low stars but let's get it together please. We will give them a try again in the future. Hope it...

This description is to share the extremely bad experience we had, my wife and my self went to this location. The dirty conditions noticed outside the building, at the entrance the odor was really bad, I saw a white pair of socks just like someone sleep over night. The interior of the restaurant under poor sanitary conditions, the area were seated was bad, the plastic window separated from other table was dirty, we're able to see old food and ketchup on frame work. Around our table majority of the couches very damaged and repaired with duct tape very unprofessional. The utensils were dirty with food from previous customers, they changed the utensils three times due to the facts on all occasions were dirty. The person in charge of cleaning the table was using the same towel cleaning the seats and the tables, this practice unsanitary conditions there is none comment sense to protect the integrity of the consumers. Never the least the waitress was using her hands to clean the table and seats not having any cleaning procedure to do the right thing or safe practice...
