Jack in the Box — Restaurant in La Verne

Let me start off I saying that I love the food here. It’s prepared fresh and the ingredients are top notch. The people are working very hard to perform double duty at the drive-through and at the front counter to take orders and prepare food. So it’s not easy for them to get to your needs right away, but that’s okay - it’s quite understandable.

Since this location is right in the middle of a major freeway access point, there are plenty of people that come here at a convenience to use the restroom. So with that said, it’s very nice to see the workers here being very patient with allowing those people to use the restroom without purchasing anything. Frankly, I think people who do use the restroom without buying anything, often take advantage of this, so it is particularly notable that this concession is free-flowing at this location.

Unfortunately, on the few visits that I’ve had here while I’m visiting my mom in Laverne from Hong Kong, I’ve seen some angry people whose vehicles have broken down off the freeway. They come in here asking questions such as “what’s the address of this location” and “can you please assist me my car broke down” while the employees are multitasking. Understandably, those workers can’t respond right away and those inquiring people get very frustrated, so this is another thing that the employees have to deal with.

I must say there are two things that are very bothersome at this location now. The bathroom is extremely dirty, and there’s no air freshener inside. It literally smells like a port-a-potty. There are also graffiti markings everywhere which I know cannot be prevented but I believe they should implement some measure to counter this vandalism.

The second bothersome thing — which is perhaps more troubling than the dirty bathroom — is the sound of a warning signal behind the front counter it goes off for long periods of time. Sometimes it goes off for minutes at a time and it’s completely maddening. At one point in the middle of my meal, I wanted to get up and leave because of that sound after two minutes repeatedly going off.

I’m still going to give three stars because I have faith that the management will address his issues within a month or so. Other than that, the dining area is clean and the workers there are...

This location is convenient and the food never disappoints. Today, however, we witnessed something that made me decide it was time to write a review, which I very rarely do. After ordering my food in the drive thru, I turned the corner to notice the car ahead of me was pulled far away from the window, making delivery of her food difficult. The staff reached out very far to give her her food and drinks, which was not reciprocated by the car's inhabitant. Then the driver and her passengers appeared to throw their straw wrappers at the employee as they drove away. It was completely rude, however, the worker didn't show any indication that the incident was going to bring her down. These types of people need more...

Didnt have time to pick up food for myself and family before curfew. Tried to order delivery at this jack in the box, practically nothing was available and when we finally found something to order it was placed at 9.50 the estimated delivery time was 11.15 then they switched it to 11.45 as if they were actually making our food before being notified that our order was cancelled! Practically waited for two hours for some ‘fast’ food that never came! Also tried to call the store TWICE and no one answered! If delivery isn’t actually an option, maybe you should say something.. i honestly dont think you even care about your reviews or customers but im just that...
