Casey's — Restaurant in La Vista

I travel between papillipn and Des Moines frequently. Last sunday, I stopped here for gas and to use the restroom. The bathroom was filthy, and covered in graffiti. I passed up the dirtiness because I get places are short staffed so I assumed it was a one time thing.

Fast forward to THIS Sunday, I am yet again traveling back to Des Moines. I stop here to get gas, grab some pizza, and use the restroom. Over half the pumps are out of service. I stop in the bathroom, and yet again it is a disgrace. I step into the only stall hoping to do my thing and get back on the road. The floor in the stall is SOAKED, covered in urine. How do I know it was urine? Because the toilet paper was stained yellow, soaked, in the floor, instead of in the toilet paper roll. I left without doing my business, and without buying any pizza for me or the people I have in the car. If you let a public bathroom get like this, and stay like this, I can only begin to imagine what the cleanliness in the kitchen is, or if the food is expired or not. I now know to never stop at the Casey’s on Giles, because the pumps don’t work, and they don’t worry about...

I walked to the hot food secrion and asked the employee working back there if she was busy. She gave me a dirty look and asked me what I needed. I then asked if she would be able to make me 2 sausage and egg croissants, with no cheese, as I can not eat cheese. I got one more dirty look before she approached the hot food box, grabbed 2 of the sandwiches in there and peeled the cheese off of them. I know the cheese is added onto the sandwiches after they are made and will eventually melt into the sandwich. However, after being made to feel like my presence was unwanted and she clearly could not be bothered to make 2 sandwiches as per my request, I decided to leave the croissants she "prepared for me" on the counter and just got some juice and an energy drink instead.

Definitely not one of my better experiences at this location. However, I would also like to point out that the employee working there at the time is not the one I'm usually greeted by. I have never seen this...

Upon walking into the building, I had gotten glares from Duane behind the counter. When I had taken items to the register he still had the same glares as when I walked in the building. I had come in for scratch tickets and other lottery, in letting him know what I was wanting he had acted like it was a issue that I wanted scratch tickets. I had wanted to use some coupons that I have received from the LSR at my job, he had taken the coupons with the same attitude that had through our whole interaction. I work at another gas station in the area and am not allowed to buy any lottery there, I had just gotten off work and was in my uniform( maybe that is why there was issues ). I had been to this location previously and had the same issues with Duane and another one of his coworkers, I have officially had enough of caseys all together. Most locations have issues with customer service, keeping coolers stocked, and food prep. CASEYS...
