Jersey Mike's Subs — Restaurant in Lacey Township

First let me say I’m a mature local business owner in Lacey Twsp. That being said I must say my second experience with this place was just as unsatisfactory as the first one was. I was greeted and felt rushed to make my choice of sandwich, then proceeded to watch the young lady prepare my two sandwiches like she was on a time limit the materials she wasted could have made another sub with the exception of the little bit of meat placed on the sandwich! After she squished the sandwiches into bags the real shock canned into play! Two subs with not much “basically a lettuce sandwich “ came to a whopping $31.42 and when I asked her if that was possibly an error that’s when I got the attitude and explanation that it’s worth more cause it’s the best. All I can say is I’m glad she has convinced herself because I and everyone I know will not support them or tolerate being taken advantage of ever again! I walked in for a sandwich today along with my husband and my 2 lb service dog who was in my arms. She alerts me when my blood pressure is going to drop so I can take action before I pass out. I didn't get two feet in the door before the jerk tells me no animals are allowed. I am standing at the door trying to read the menu. Again he repeats i must leave becsuse there are no dogs allowed and I have a dog. He was extremely rude. If given the opportunity I would have shown him paperwork. I hope he is aware he just violated ADA laws big time. I told my husband what to order for me and i exited. Having a difficult medical issue is hard enough but having someone so rude and uncaring demand that I leave is worse. This dog is my lifeline and she goes everywhere with me. I have Celiac Disease and consistently frequent Jersey Mike's because it is known to be a safe space for those with allergens. The worker behind the counter refused to use ingredients in the back, claiming that he didn’t have any. He told me that by 8pm each night, they have nothing in stock and that I can’t expect them to accommodate me. I am really disappointed, I’ve never experienced this at other locations. He also went as far as continuing to dispute whether or not other stores would accommodate my dietary restrictions while my husband begrudgingly finished his sandwich order. LAME.
