Mrs. Walker's Homemade Ice Cream — Restaurant in Lacey Township

I rarely eat ice cream, and I rarely leave reviews. When I decide to do both, you will know that I want to talk about something good or something terrible 😁 I prefer to eat quality ice cream. I am an RN, and I have been on call in this area since this morning. I found this location on Google on my way home (have a 45-minute commute ahead of me), and I chose this place over a few other local places. I ordered a raspberry chocolate milkshake. This ice cream is soooooo good, and soooooo rich and creamy, that I am still in the parking lot and writing this review (not even done with the shake). The shake is thick, but the flavor of this ice cream...AMAZING. I haven't had ice cream like this since I was a kid. I do not live locally, but I plan to be back. I initially thought the cost was a bit pricey for a small shake, especially since most places don't use or make the best ice cream...and they end up drowning whatever flavor that you ask for in milk. Well, that was not the case today. The shake was thick and delicious, and it was 100% worth every single penny. The service was prompt, and the servers were courteous. I will definitely be back when I work in this area again. What a perfect find, especially before the summer months! If you know the difference between ordinary ice cream, and quality ice cream, treat yourself and come here. I can't wait to try some of the other flavors. Yummy! I’ve gone here my entire life and have never experienced ruder workers than I have the last two nights. Last night one of the girls scoffed and rolled her eyes at my cousin when she ordered just a simple small cup of chocolate. Tonight I ordered a mint chocolate chip milkshake and it was just straight milk with little to no ice cream. I don’t normally ask for my meals or food to be remade but I went in a asked for it to be remade. the girl yelled at me saying “well so then you want it extra thick or something?” And I responded “I want just a regular milkshake not just milk” and she rudely responds with her hands out “well that’s how we make milkshakes here so do you want it extra thick or not?” She then proceeded to slam the glass after scooping and slam the cup on the counter after she was done with it. I’ve come here since I was a child and have gotten this milkshake made normally. My family and I will not be returning.

Ordered a chocolate shake, and asked for them to keep it thick. Got (soft) chocolate ice cream and it was watered down with milk. I could only taste the milk. Gave 2 stars cause other stuff we got was fine. Worst milkshake I've ever had though. I had to put so much chocolate syrup into the container just to return the chocolate flavor and stuck it in the freezer just to make the best of what I got.

(Edit) I appreciate the offer for the coupon. I will refuse the coupon for now in good faith that it was a one time fluke. I understand people make mistakes, or lack training due to being new, or whatever. I will bump my review to 3 stars, and will visit again sometime.
