When I first entered this establishment I was not expecting all that much. Its not in the ritziest of locations and the restaurant itself isnt the fanciest. It appears typical mom and pop style pizza place but with a comfy cafe feel. The bar side has a dull hum of patrons having a good time whilst the restaurant side is a calmer atmosphere. Our waiter, Tyler, immediately greeted us with a smile and cheerful demeanor and promptly got our drinks. Little did I know this man was the conductor on a roller coaster that I unwittingly boarded. Looking at the prices on the menu was a shock at first, the appetizers cost about the same price as the main course. $11 for wings or nachos. It seemed quite steep but I thought im already here and have not had the food before so I should try it out and let others know how it is. I am SO GLAD that I stayed. For the appetizer I asked how hot the spicy tangy wings were and Tyler did not respond with some generic "They are kinda spicy" or, "Mildish", Instead he opted to give me a full rundown of the spice, what they were sauced with and the dipping that came with and why. He knew the food in and out and when I took my first bite the roller coaster dropped. These wings were very mild but still had a kick afterwards. The honey mustard on them was powerful but not overpowering. It instead paved the way for the spice to hit you just at the right moment. Extremely satisfied with these I patiently awaited my pizza. It took slightly longer than average times to deliver but after my first bite I was shown why. It is by far the freshest pizza i've had to date. I had ordered the bacon chicken ranch expecting a papa johns style hodgepodge of ingredients slapped on some rubber and was pleasantly proven wrong. The crust, which I normally dont/cant eat, (Due to a fossilized nature), was not only soft but perhaps one of my favorite parts. The pizza was cooked as just a cheese, bacon, chicken, garlic, and ranch-esque sauce pizza. Basil and Tomatoes were added after so they tasted right off the plant fresh. Now this sounds like quite a few things going on in this pizza but I was able to taste Every.Single.Part of this pizza. The basil had a strong aroma when smelled instead of a faint smell, when consumed the punch of it teetered on criminal yet did not linger. Afterwards the bacon and garlic came through to send you for a loop with the chicken easing you down off the corkscrew whirl from this roller coaster. Each bit saw me nearing the limits of my eating but I just had to finish. The last bite was bittersweet. I experienced a pizza like none other, yet my experience was done...for the night. Upon collecting our plates our waiter did not try and force dessert upon us, like so many other places, but instead oped to ask us if we wanted the check or dessert. He cheerfully obliged us in gathering our check without argument or push to try some random chocolate filled cake. The price may have looked a bit steep on paper but for the quality of food I got it felt as thought they were just using the restaurant as a front to fuel there passion for creating delicious art.
Overall one of the best meals I have had the absolute pleasure of experiencing and will 100% for sure be dining here again. Especially if Tyler...
Read moreSo we just moved here from the east coast and I was craving some NYC pizza. I called to place an order for pick up and was promptly hung up on. I gave them the benefit of the doubt, Friday night, -I figured they were busy…so I called back and was put on hold for 5 minutes….like I said, Friday night, so it was all good. I ordered a 12” pie, extra crispy, and I spelled my 4 letter name, Erin, for the order taker, who said they’d have it ready for me in 40-45 minutes, which was fine.
I arrived 45 minutes later to pick up my $20. 12-inch pie, (…which happens to be the size of less than 2 NYC slices, which I would’ve paid $6 for back East…) and I was surrounded by 3 employees asking me who I placed the order with and did I call the right number? I showed them my phone, with the (2) calls I made to the correct number (…the first one where they hung up on me, then the second where I placed the order.). I realized they could not find my order. I was asked who I spoke with, but the order taker never gave me her name. A few moments later, another employee asked me if my order could be under a different name. I said no, I even spelled my name for the order taker. Then an employee asked me if my order could be under Jesse? Confused, I said well that’s my husband’s name but I placed the order from my phone. They left the pizza labeled ‘Jesse’ with me and a credit card machine then scattered. No, ‘here you go!’ Nor a ‘thank you.’ -Nothing.
So let’s forget about the BIZARRE ‘coincidence’ that my correct pizza order, which I placed using my cell phone number and my first name somehow gets labeled with my husband’s first name when we just moved to Washington State, Farellis never had my credit card info until I paid for Erin’s order labeled “Jesse,” and the fact my husband never ate there (-it’s not like we’re from here and he just forgot!) -They lost a star from me because 3/4 of their wood burning stove was filthy, and another because their pizza is too much money to not add enough sugar to their gravy to counteract the bitterness of the canned tomatoes. Otherwise, a decent, albeit...
Read moreMy friends birthday she wanted pizza so she decided Farrellis. We show up and she goes in to get us a table our party of 5 is standing outside waiting as to not crowd the tiny waiting area that already had a large party waiting. We stand around for almost an hour my friend's mother went in multiple times in this hour to ask about our seats. We had called ahead to try and reserve a table was told they do not do reservations on Friday and Saturday. Was a lie because when we saw they were seating another party our size we were told they had a reservation. Then it happened a second time and I was getting angry we waited over 1 hour 45 minutes we would have left but at about 45 min they told us we had a table coming and that we would be seated soon and that we could order our pizza so it would be done quicker and we could get it sooner once seated. So we already ordered our food and my friend wanted pizza. What really made me angry is we are waiting all this time I finally asked the hostess can you just sit us at the bar until our table is ready, I could see a bunch of empty spots, so we can at least have a drink. She then says oh the bar is open if you want to go over there. Two other parties were comped for them having to wait for far less time than our party after 1 hour and 45 minutes we were not even offered a free drink. The pizza is ridiculously overpriced 30$ a pizza. The drinks were expensive and very weak my wife isn't a drinker and she had two Jack's and cokes and wasn't even moderately buzzed. I recommend any other pizza place including Little Ceasars will save you a bunch of...
