Holy moly let me tell you about this place.

First off, we were hungry and when the food came out, it looked so good we forgot to take some pictures lol and some half eaten 😅

We (husband, mom, and I) got the stone bibimbab, kimbap, chicken katsu, shrimp tempura, gyoza AND the new korean style chicken. Half naked, half spicy sauce. Came out to a little over $100. That itself is amazing.

BUT the food itself is 🤌 chefs kiss💋 I'll go in order. The stone bibimbap came out hot and sizzling. I wish I had gotten a photo but it was so pretty with the golden egg on top. They recommend you mix it quick and to the bottom otherwise the heat from the stone will continue to cook the rice and it'll eventually burn. If you mix it right away, it will be nice and crispy rice mixed it. The veggies are nice and seasoned that they could be eaten separately but once mixed with the red pepper paste and egg, it becomes a completely different and amazing dish. If you like something healthy but filling, try this out.

The kimbab as you can see in the picture is picture perfect. The filling is so much, I could barely fit it in my mouth. The ingredients were the right amount of softness and crunchy. If I had gotten the tteokbeokki, it would have been even better. Kimbab and tteokbeokki sauce 🤤

Chicken katsu. The picture is after we took quite a few bites 😅 outside is crispy but the inside is moist. Idk why it's so hard for other places to do katsu right but here they do. Also the katsu sauce is the perfect amount of tangy and sweet.

Shrimp tempura and gyoza is hard to mess up so needless to say, it was a good appetizer.

Lastly the korean chicken. It hasn't been too long since this came on their menu but I can see why it's popular. As a korean, chicken is such a comfort food. In Federal way alone there are at least 5 korean chicken places and I'd drive down to lacey any day to eat this chicken. The skin is crispy and the inside moist. It doesnt taste oily at all. I don't know how they do it, but I hope they continue. When the order first came out, I thought I ordered 2 servings but no it was one. There are 14 big pieces. Other places will give you only wings or drumlets and boy are the small. K-Kitchen uses whole chickens and cut them themselves. They're left in brine overnight and specially marinated.

I'll be back for sure!

P.s. the owners are really...

I hate to be the one to give yall a bad review but the food was way too expensive for such terrible quality.

You gave us UNFRIED rice. It's just sticky white rice with pale chicken and frozen veggies, you didn't even season it. I see pepper flakes so maybe there's a grain of salt along with pepper in there but THAT'S NOT HOW YOU MAKE FRIED RICE. Bland and tasteless. Almost slammed it into the wall.

You didn't clean your rice it's starchy as all get out.

My beef and tofu soup is 99% tofu, .5% zucchini and .5% beef crumbs. The broth barely had any taste either and yall know it.

Spring rolls were standard frozen, not terrible. Same with the gyoza. I give them an average 5/10. Not bad but I could get the same taste from a grocery store.

All in all your food is extremely overpriced for being so poorly cooked. Idk what yall got going on in that kitchen or if this restaurant is some kind of front but I'm gonna need you to go to the store and buy some SEASONINGS and USE THEM. I spent way too much money to have...

This place has great reviews... And it should! Amazing food, Amazing service!!

My wife and I came for the first time and we ordered family style, lots of dishes. Everything was SO good and here is what we recommend:

Korean Fried Chicken (Sweet & Spicy): Wow!! I could have just eaten this, piping temperature hot, it has such great flavor, not overly spicy. Pictured is the half order and it was so worth the price.

Beef BBQ Bolgogi: We got it over rice and it was as good as we've had it, very tasty and good portion.

Japchae: Very good portion, lots of flavor, with vegetables, we had lots left over and we definitely ate the leftovers. I hate the most of this dish because I love Japchae.

So many choices here, can't go wrong and the lady who served us was so so nice. Excellent experience, we...

#koreanfood break! First time eating here, and I’m shocked at how good it is! The food exceeded my expectations, and the staff are incredibly friendly and attentive. If you’re in the area (Lacey)—or even if you're from out of town—this place is definitely worth a visit! We ordered gyoza, bulgogi kimbap, kimchi fried rice, short ribs, and japchae. Everything was so delicious!!! #musttry #fyp #lacey #washington #foodies #foodbreak10 #rod
