This was my 1st time visiting this establishment & I was honestly not impressed at all. I ordered a BBQ Pork Steak Dinner which came w/ Baked Beans, Cole Slaw, & Potato Salad. The Pork Steak was so-so, it had alot of fat & griddle & not alot of meat. The BBQ sauce I couldn't tell if it was tangy from too much vinegar or if it was pepper?? 🤔 The Potato Salad was edible, but veggies needed to be cut up a lil' smaller. The Cole Slaw was not creamy at all, extremely dry, but very crunchy. I ordered a extra order of Baked Beans which I was somewhat disappointed with as they had too much molasses in them which gave them a very strong, bitter, almost peppery taste. Maybe less molasses & a lil' more Brown Sugar?? I also ordered a side of Mac & Cheese which was honestly the worst I have ever had!!, as it was extremely dry & gummy🙄. The best thing that I ordered out of my whole order was actually my dessert which was a Brownie w/ Vanilla Ice Cream. It was actually outstanding & worth ordering again & maybe even ordering extra😋. My Mother ordered Potato Pancakes which she was not impressed with, an order of Baked Beans which she felt the same way as me about, & a Wedge Salad which she said was Ok. She also ordered a slice of Apple Pie for dessert which she was very disappointed with as it was not cooked all the way through. The apples were not cooked completely & there was alot of the core throughout the pie & to make things worse, the pie dough was extremely doughy & uncooked 🤔. Our total bill was about $65 maybe a lil' more including tip. Not sure I would try this establishment again. It seems like they may cater to Sports Bar food appetizers like Wings etc.. & Alcohol & not true Dinner menu items?? I would've been better off going to "Hendricks" for around the...

Stopped in for a beer and an app on the way home. We haven't been here in a couple of years cause last time we came the food was meh and the service was even less than meh. Maybe the bartender last visit was having an off day and maybe the kitchen staff was new or maybe it was a full moon. I don't know but this time the bartender was great, friendly, thoughtful, courteous, prompt and professional. I ordered naked wings and my wife ordered mac-n-cheese and a pickle. She's not pregnant, she just wanted 2 of her favorite foods in one sitting... The wings were outstanding! Crispy, hot, flavorful and we're definitely not from frozen, or at least they didn't have that from frozen texture most bars try to pass off as "award winning wings." My wife loved the pickle; apparently they are made in house. It was really quite yummy as far as a pickle goes and it was also quite crisp (it was a whole pickle sliced in half, lengthwise). Her Mac and cheese was rediculously cheesy, hot, creamy and perfectly cooked to al-dente for that oh so subtle "snip" with watch bite. It was also a rather large portion - too large to eat in one sitting so she took it home and it had gone for 2 more servings before she finally finished it. Overall, this was a successful visit and we won't stay away for this long again, especially because now I know where to get the second best wing I've eaten in St Louis. BE WARNED! I really debated whether or not I would post my experience because I feel bad for the owner Pedro since he is struggling but everyone is struggling and I feel that this is just too unacceptable not to warn others. My first time ordering from there and I got 2 burgers for almost $30 that were horrible. Over cooked missing ingredients unseasoned etc. I understand restaurants have bad nights so I spoke to the managers politely informing them and was promised a refund. A week later I called to check up on my refund and the owner answers going off on me for writing a negative review and stating he will not give my refund until I take it down. #1 Hard times is no excuse to provide bad service, if you are going to charge that much the quality needs to match, #2 refusing to give the refund your mangers promised for poor quality unless a honest review is taken down is blackmail and unacceptable. I will say that by the end of the 5 minute long argument I had with Pedro explaining to him that is unethical he did in fact begin my refund but he had no intentions to before I called (for the 3rd time) begging for what was promised to me.
