12/14 - We were heading out to breakfast when our boys heard us, so they came along. We took them to have a diner experience and this was a lot of fun.
The waitress on duty was friendly and made both boys feel welcomed. She made sure to go over the menu and explain how it works. They both picked their own meal and placed their order.
My wife and have been here before so we had a little experience. The one thing I’ll point out is if you’re here for the first time make sure you know the difference between two egg and four egg omelette otherwise you’ll have a lot food to eat or take. I order the two egg omelette and I’m a big man. It’s filling.
While we waited we people watched and had a nice conversation. They asked questions on the place and why it’s cash only. Nothing too big to answer just killing time.
The food came out and our kids meal was a full plate of pancakes and sausage. He was in heaven when he saw the size of them. He had fun trying to eat it all.
Our older boy went with the French Toast and he enjoyed every bite. As for us, we always have a pleasant time eating here. We try a different omelette if not a meal.
The ladies are always friendly on the ball and you’re never out of water, coffee or soda. If you don’t see it ask because they may have it in the back and they don’t mind helping you.
One of the cooks will bring out your food. The entire staff there works like a great team.
Everyone is always peaceful. No one ever has a complaint or leaves upset. This is a place I think everyone treats each other kind.
Cash only is the rule, so...
Read moreSat and seen how the cook made the food. Well, let's say everything is frozen, then made and they microwave everything else. The grits were nothing but a big lump in a bowl and the cook got them from a white bucket and microwave them. The lady, brought them to me and said would you like milk or water to put in them. Their eggs, are kept in a drink cooler by the stove. If you dont want people seeing how the food is made, move the table! And the waitress never asked why we didn't want the grits. Just went to the front and went off about me not wanting them and the cook didn't get it either. And the gravy, is microwaved as well. Like microwaved food,go here bc,they seem to think it's good that way.
If you in the middle table by front door, you can see how everything is made and see,you may think twice about here.
Guess,we assumed, you cooked everything and it was fresh not, even the tender loin is frozen and thrown into the cooker. Only thing fresh,is the eggs and toast. Guess,of you like their food keep going but,we...
