Cicis Pizza — Restaurant in Lafayette

Just don’t go. Went Sunday afternoon around 12. No line, but inside was crowed, about 3 tables were available and food was still up and ready to be served on the buffet line. My boyfriend and I go up to pay and begin to serve ourselves, the cashier says “we are going to wait about 5-10 minutes to let the kitchen catch up” .....uuuhhhh catch up with what. Sure it’s crowed. But everyone seemed to just be enjoying their time there. Not serving themselves. I know y’all just opened but y’all opened to fast with to slow of cooks I’m assuming. Anyways, my boyfriend said “you can go find a table for us to sit at. I’ll stay up here and wait”. I find a table. Happens to be a messy, disgusting a booth. No ‘bus boy’ person in sight. I cleaned up the plates, crumbs and utensils MYSELF the best I could with a napkin. I sit and I’m waiting. I get a text from my boyfriend “Get up from the table” the manager had asked him where his girlfriend was. Asked if I paid. And told him “that’s not how this works”. Lady..I wasn’t eatting. I was having a seat at the table I cleaned off cause your employees just couldn’t seem to do it. You’re welcome by the way! I walk up. She said “save the booths for the bigger parties, you two can sit at a two top.”. Wait I thought this place was seat yourself, serve yourself and pay the workers bills.....I must’ve been wrong. STILL WAITING TO PAY and start this whole lunch thing. By this time a line had formed out the door, down the side walk. I could hear people behind me saying “I read the reviews on this place...I really have no idea why I came” and everything along those lines. 20 MINUTES GO BY now it’s time to pay :) the manager (who is a lady with blonde/strawberry blonde hair by the way. Didn’t get her name unfortunately) was our cashier and just pretended like nothing happened but then reminded us again to sit at a two top as we were walking away. So nice. Me and my family went to the Cicis on Ambassador Caffery on July 28, 2019 at 3:00 p.m. and it was just horrible. I was charged almost $40 and I was COMPLETELY UNSATISFIED. The service was horrible. While we were greeted at the door and treated nicely the workers were lazy. The buffet bar was BARREN. There were only about 6 pizzas on the bar and they were all old and stale. Looking at them made me feel like they would crumble up if I touched it. There was salad and soup on the bar, however there were no desserts or pasta. Once we served ourselves the sorry excuse of pizza that was available we went to sit and all the available tables were dirty. They all had stacked food, plates, and cups on them that were left by previous customers. We had to clean our own table just to sit. When we sat I could see that the floor was COVERED in TRASH, paper towels, lettuce, anything that you can imagine was on the floor. And the dessert and salad bar weren't refilled at all the entire time we were there. Pizza was put on the bar, but it was either over baked or an old one taken from under the counter. When we were finishing up my son and daughter went to check out the game room and came back looking very disappointed. They told me that most of the games in there were out of order. And they couldn't even get tokens because one of the two token machines were out of order and the other did not take the money. And not to mention this was on my son's BIRTHDAY!!! we were leaving an employee also saw a group of people coming and told them that they would have to come back in an hour because they didn't have anymore cheese even though I just saw them shred an entire block of cheese. I entered the restaurant at 1:17pm on 9/10/2025. I approached the register where I was greeted and made my purchase. Looking around I found 3 other guest eating. I grab my plate and go fix my drink. I set my drink on the table and turn around. Here is where it got a little weird. I see a employee sitting on a guy's lap in the corner. I think nothing of it honestly. Then I grab my pizza and return to my table. As I sit there the female and the male now know as the manager move to a more secluded table. After some time I needed to use the restroom. As I open the door to the restroom I find another male associate standing in the restroom door way Knuckle deep in his nose. Does he wash his hands nope. I use the restroom, wash my hands and return to the dinning room where I find the manager wrapping his arms around the female associate grabbing her breast at the more secluded table. The male associate that was in the restroom Knuckle deep is now back in the kitchen area inside the floppy door. The female associate that was being groped gets up and returns to making pizzas without washing her hands. The manager stayed behind in my mind to allow his blood to stop flowing to certain areas so he could return to the kitchen to grab his IPad and head out the front door.
