Hawaii Grill — Restaurant in Lafayette

Like the ai summary says, I found it to be clean, fresh, tasty, service great, and really appreciated that it is 100% wheelchair friendly, beyond just accessible. Tried the dark meat chicken, rice, and veg. So refreshing to see thighs instead of breast, otherwise I was just going veggie. Bourbon sauce was great, mom liked the Hawaii Sauce. Next time i'll do spicy. Only thing I can say is I wish they had tofu, but honestly, thats just me, and i'd gladly get the thighs again or shrimp. This is good comfort food! Spring rolls were great at $2.25 for 2!!!, as well, and the ginger dressing on the INCLUDED salad was perfect. Just what we were in the mood for! Under $38 for two with apps and drink, not including the tip, which was well deserved. For not being a full service dining room, it was very efficient and we were taken care of very well by at least 3 people during our brief late lunch. Thanks!

Edit: I dont usually take or post photos much, i forget. BUT after packing my generous leftovers for later tonight, I took a pic of the empty plate... porcelin or close, 12" oval, really nice. I only took notice because Im about to replace our aging plateware due to breakage. I kinda want these oval plates, if the owners read this, where can I...

My wife and I discovered this restaurant the day after we got married and absolutely fell in love! The people here are so nice and the food is just amazing with good sized portions one of my favorite things to eat here is the pan fried dumplings with a ginger dipping sauce...I have yet to try a dish that I dislike everything is so good! We have since gone here on a little getaway trip to laffayette and again on our anniversary and again when we found out the gender of our baby as a celebration...love the owner and the staff very sweet people I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone in the area and wants to try Hawaiian food I promise you will not be...

"Our experience was overall a positive one." The staff was attentive, professional, and courteous. "Some of the best dumplings I've ever tried." Simple pick between two favorites miso or vegetable soups. The shrimp were cooked to perfection. Grilled pineapples, and veggies just right. Booth or table...Self seating. "Relaxing atmosphere due to aquatic sounds on Wall LCD's. Easy dineout...No pressure!
