Let us talk Lafayette and beyond!!! If you have not had the enjoyable experience of Community Supper Club restaurant then - YOU NEED THIS! This establishment is seriously- not exaggerating-hands down a 5 star experience. The chef has an amazing menu that rotates and brings you a culinary experience of fun, excitement, uniqueness and elegance. Every dish we have enjoyed over our visits are amazing. The staff have you feeling like you are VIPs and the ambience of the restaurant is so cool, laid back and welcoming. Please take a day or evening and treat yourself to a delicious meal paired with amazing cocktails or wine. You will find yourself returning over and over again My dining partner and I enjoyed a late lunch experience on the back patio. The menu is great for shareable options so we went in with a plan - share! We also wanted to take the afternoon slow and step back into our deeply desired European lifestyle. So, we decided to begin with the stone fruit salad and a ginger dressing. It was immaculately dressed - not too much - or too little - JUST RIGHT! The watermelon radish and the peaches paired perfectly. Our wine selection for this course included a beautiful white wine from Italy (Frico Blanco) and Prosecco. Yum! After trying to look casual and anti ravenous- we told our server Levi we would like to share The hanger steak and Tot dish. It came with broccolini and house made tots. OK, if you’re not intrigued by now let me help - the steak was cooked to perfection- beautiful medium rare, tender and oh so good and juicy. The house made Tots were so delicious that you will never eat a frozen tater tots the same way again or maybe ever again - really! The crispiness of the tots - the char of the broccolini paired so perfectly with the steak. JUST ORDER, you will see and not regret it! We paired this dish with a beautiful well rounded Tempranillo red wine suggested by our outstanding server Levi. Levi helped to create our experience and made us feel like part of the Community family. His service, kindness, suggestions and enthusiasm made our day! Thank you Levi! We will return! We absolutely love this restaurant and find ourselves wanting to return over and over again. The menu never disappoints and the restaurant, service and ambiance is truly outstanding! Thank you again Community Supper Club Staff! Compliments to you ALL!

Great chill, but an elevated cuisine vibe. Small plates/starters were tough to choose from, and I will go back for things I missed. We got the burrata, which was first esthetically beautiful. It came with 4 pieces of toast and some arugula and vinegarette. Getting all that in one bite was a punch of creamy umami. The large plates had a few good options, too. They have both entree and sandwiches. We got the Wild Boar Ragu Buccatini and the Peach Pork Belly sandwich. The portion size was a good diner portion for the average diner. The ragu was so so good. I wish I would have had some bread for sopping up all the deliciousness. The buccatini was perfectly cooked when it reached the table. The pork belly sandwich was fun. The pork was well rendered, so the salty, sweet aspect with some great chibatta made a fantastic bite. The Ragu won though at our table. The tots we nice and crispy, and I used a cheat code to dip the tots in the ragu. You are welcome! Service was attentive but not overbearing. They were very quick and checked in the right amount. The venue was open, kitchen with a patio, which gave it a nice elevated chill vibe. The only critique for the place was the cocktail game. The unique cocktails we ok. The wine list was ok, and the draft list was pretty good. I will go back! Especially since the Layfette High Street has such a community feel, so it's nice to walk afterward.

Community (Supper Club) has always been an interesting addition to the Lafayette restaurant scene (ha, I know). The food is delicious, fresh, and local and the drinks are really tasty but I can’t help but crave a little more… consistency. I get that the menu rotates and what’s in season changes every few months, but it seems like even favorites like the Brussels sprouts are different every time. Even the name of the restaurant itself can’t escape the allure of reinvention. However, change isn’t always a bad thing. I love exploring a refreshed menu and being surprised by something I’ve never tried before. I just wish there were a few more tried-and-true favorites (cough, Brussels sprouts) that were reliably consistent. That’s what makes community, right? Consistency? Here’s an idea: if the menu changes regularly, bring the community into the process: host a menu tasting night where members can provide feedback, or solicit a family recipe and stamp their name next to a menu item. Charge a membership fee and make it a real club that builds community! Ok fine, 5 stars… I’m just eager to see where Community goes next, but more honestly where it decides to stay the same.

Service is great, but food quality is much worse since the recent brand change and new menu. We have been going to the restaurant since it opened and have been loyal followers, even regularly ordering take out during COVID to support them every week (even though very tired of the small COVID menu) but we still wanted to keep them alive and support them, b/c they were such a unique offering in East Boulder Country: quality, creativity, delicious and health conscious menu, may steps above most east county restaurants. New menu after post COVID, reopening initially great, but this new recent menu, just not the same quality, very hard to find anything healthy and delicious, which was their trade mark in the past, with many more options to choose from. Most of it now heavy comfort food, not what you can eat on a regular basis, and very inconsistent, some options much better than others (before very consistent, every thing was delicious). We will probably not be back unless they expand their menu to offer more of what they were so good at in the past. Addendum: (Thanks for your thoughtful response (see below owner response). It definitely was not just one dish we were disappointed in, we have been in several times since the new menu, and last night one dish was exceptional and fabulous (honey cured pork tenderloin), the rest were very mediocre. But we will definitely keep our eye out to see how restaurant evolves and try again. We have brought many people to your restaurant over the years, who have never been there, and have continually spread positive reviews to many (word of mouth positive reviews, as you know, help restaurants the most). Thought such a large shift in menu warranted written comment, however, new formula may work better for you and be popular for more other people, which is great in other ways, always want local businesses to thrive and survive.

8/24/22. Changed rating to 5 stars, after new menu change, tried again several months later, excellent!! Back to their superior quality and new menu is more diverse with healthy options, as well as fun comfort food, giving a nice balance of choices. Had the Snapper and Ahi Poki, both excellent, can't wait to become a...

Went to this place for the first time on a Thursday at 4pm. They must have just opened when I got there because they were not ready for customers as there was cleaning supplies on a lot of the tables. The doors were propped open so I walked in but no one acknowledged me at first. After I stood there trying to make eye contact with someone, an employee came over and seated us. Our server was very nice, chatty, and attentive and we put in our orders rather quickly. However our food was very slow and, with an open kitchen, it was easy to hear and see that the staff was more concentrated on themselves than preparing food. Our server finally brought over our tacos and apologized for the wait. He said their system went down so the kitchen wasn't getting any tickets. But unfortunately our tacos weren't hot and the blue corn tortillas were dry and split open when we picked them up. It took another 10-15 min to get our other appetizer, the lamb meatballs, and unfortunately they were raw on the inside. I hardly ever send food back, even if it is the wrong order, but I sent them back and just told them to throw them back on the fire for a bit longer. I thought this would only take 5 more minutes, but it probably took another 15 min or more. Again I could hear and see the staff chatting in the back, and they didn't look like they were preparing food - although in their defense, the meatballs could have been finishing in the oven and they could have just been waiting. I did see our server waiting by the heat lamps, so I'm sure he was trying to get out meatballs. Luckily our new set of meatballs were cooked perfectly! Our server was also really nice and comped two of our glasses of wine to make up for our wait. I also saw an employee, in uniform, although I'm not sure he was on the clock, drinking two beers by the kitchen. I also saw a plate of shrimp sitting by the extra plates (not under the heat lamp) while two employee chatted away. Overall the food was good but not something to write home about. And the staff (aside from our server) could have been better. Hence,...
