i literally never leave 1-star reviews but i have absolutely nothing nice to say about my visit after having boycotted from my last terrible experience years ago... my boyfriend wanted to try it so i decided to give them another shot... i ordered a pizza off the menu, told them i don't like steen's syrup and the girl rudely told me i had to tell the people at the very end (how am i supposed to know when they're working on mine?????) we go to pay and as we are checking out the girl says they have two for one on tuesday before we paid but refuses to give us the deal, then i tell the people at the very end when they get my pizza, i don't like steen's syrup and to not put it on, they call my name and sure enough they still put the steen's syrup on anyway, after the rest of my people pretty much finished their food I finally got mine and then after a few tasteless bites i am wandering around aimlessly for little packets of peppers (which, should have been at the table imo) but can't find any, then decide to go to the counter again and wait forever for anyone to even come up to get them for me from behind the counter....
in response to you, no, i'm not going to reach out because when i did that years ago all i got was a rude response full of excuses for...
Read moreMy husband asked me to try here again tonight. I was hesitant because the last 2 times beforehand they didn't make it Gluten-free the first time, but decided to let him pick the place. This time, I warned the guy taking my order i wasn't paying for it to be made wrong again. Well, I got a Gluten-free crust . . . with pasta on the top. When this place 1st opened, everything worked like a well oiled machine. For the last few months, the service has gone downhill. Not once in all this time were we asked if our decision to have the Gluten-free was an allergy. For all I know, the sauce still wasn't right. Once during that time, my sauce was incorrect and they knew because they were asking if it was an allergy. It was subbed and I didn't have to pay for it. Tonight, we told them they were going to eat the cost of this third mistake and the manager caught an attitude. The real problem is high turnover rate of employees. So high that there's no one fully trained to train the newbies. Which obviously means that they aren't treating their employees well, either. Ive heatd Blaze pizza os good. Guess im going to have to try it. The two stars are because they did actually have clean tables for the 1st time...
Read moreDecided to come eat here with my family, and we had high expectations because we ate at Pizza amore before, and I rated it 5 stars because they were owned by this chain. My family ordered their pizzas, which was a "build your own," and I was going to try the Mac & Cheese calzone. Well, they apparently were out, so I had to end up building my own which I didn't mind, but then I asked them to make it a certain way that I liked and they told me they couldn't do that, so already I was upset, and that only made it worse unfortunately for me. The price for everything wasn't bad, but the taste of the food was extremely bland, and the sauce tasted watered down. The restaurant overall was somewhat clean, but they had flies. The service was average at best, but I also understood how busy they were with the festival going on, so I won't bash them much, but I felt as a critic they fell short. I'm extremely disappointed, and I'm not sure if we will return or just take the extra trip to Pizza Amore. I can still recommend this place, but just tread carefully. Try to do better, you already set the standard for...
