Normally, my wife and I genuinely enjoy this place. Fresh tasting food and usually great service. As of lately, the orders have been wrong, which never used to happen. Today, I walked in to pick up my online order. I stood at the counter, usually I'm greeted, but the young man was just sitting down scrolling on his phone. Didn't even notice I was in front of him. Got the food. Check it in the car, and I'm missing a few things in my bowl. Normally, I get x2 eel. So I went back in because my bowl had none at all but still got charged for it. I showed him the receipt. Showed him the bowl. He told me it was in the other bowl. Which it wasn't. But even if it was, it would me he still messed up the order. So he turns around and sees a tray of eel on the counter, which I would assume was supposed to go into my bowl. He puts the eel into my bowl and places the bowl on the counter rather aggressively. I say thank you, he says nothing at all. Not even an acknowledgment. Everyone else I've had over here serve me has been fantastic, but this young man doesn't seem to be...

I ordered food using Waitr and it arrived in a fairly timely manner, but without the sauces accompanying the bowls, some of which were extra charges.
I called and was told "sorry, we'll put together the sauces and get Waitr to get those out to you."
TWO AND ONE HALF HOURS LATER -- still nothing.
After half-hour with Waitr customer "service" online, I was told "we have no record of them ever contacting us."
So, I didn't get the sauces that come with the bowls.... and I didn't get the ones for which I paid extra....
and the folks at Waitr think that a refund of $3.46 is going to make things just fine with me.

Used to be you would get 12 or more pieces. I just went in there and they maybe gave me 2 oz of fish for a 2 protein bowl. That's like... 4-6 pieces of tuna and salmon.
There was also an incident in which one of the servers dropped edamame onto the counter and then picked it up and put it into my bowl. He also put his gloves on before making it, but then went to the back to ask the manager something, touching the plastic curtain separator that was gray with dirt with his gloved hands, and then proceeded to make my food with those gloves.
As I said, it used to be great. I guess the owner or management was trying to find a way to make the business more profitable.
Try the one on...
