Subway — Restaurant in Lafayette

I have been multiple subways around the Bay Area, and i honestly believe the review system. So I’m gonna have to add one here because this one is super interesting.

Here goes… walked in for lunch today and I am not from that area, I usually love going to the Dublin or Pleasanton subway and they have an awesome experience but here in Lafayette, this particular one I found was a scam. I asked the lady about the new menu and she suggested to take the Mexican chicken sandwich. During the preparation, she started putting the chicken in however amounts and then she asked about extra chicken and I said no to it, then when the toppings came I said no lettuce and I want extra tomatoes and olives. So the lady ended up charging me bunch of things on top of my order and she basically somehow got the bill to over 20 for one sandwich. And on top she right away threw the receipt away . When I asked her she threaded it away and she said do you really want it. Anyway The sandwich cost was supposed to be 12 .the lady didn’t even put much veggies. Anyway after I asked she started giving me lecture about cost going up but that’s not advertise though. I suggest please not to go here. It’s a big scam. I really regret not waiting till I get back to Dublin for getting my sub. Horrible horrible experience, sometimes I don’t understand these ppl do...

Got to the register and the woman argued for 5 minutes that no coupons could be used in store.

THE COUPONS LITERALLY SAID SCAN IN STORE!

Then we asked to just pay for the items and the woman started scanning the coupons.

Once we clarified they could be used she mixed up all the orders so we could only use one instead of 3.

I don’t go to subway often because it’s overpriced for the quality but didn’t mind paying $8.99 for a meal.

Out the door $18 for a mediocre sandwich, small drink and a bag of chips.

I have had many issues in the past at this location and this experience is just icing...

I really don’t write reviews I always give benefit of the doubt. Today I ordered online for pick up and I’m a tuna fan so I ordered double. I went to pick up my order and sandwich was made with standard portions. I asked if it was double portion and the manager looked me in the eye and said yes. I said it doesn’t look like it is but then she interrupted with oh we wouldn’t do that we want your business to come back. Well said to say that was a lie and I understand times are tough for business but don’t lie in front of a customer. That’s my peeves to lie in a customer face and be rushed out...
