Jan's Health Bar — Restaurant in Laguna Beach

I must say this is a place I come at least twice a week its sort of cool they all know me vs versa and I never have an awkward experience even during the pandemic. First I want to say I don't know any of the employees before our interactions when I come in and they all agre super chill hard working caring people very health conscious just what we want as healthy eaters. OK so to go further I love them I love the pband kale smoothie it's delicious and the wraps are bomb so the food is another plus and then during this crazy thing that happend global o think this was my ho to spot. In the midst of.confusuon still fresh in everyone's mind about being out in public i watched them and the attention to detail of automatic cleanliness in an organic and unpasteurized natural way i was very impressed. I always tip because they mean that much to me . I'm local Laguna beach downtown and I can say I rely on this place weekly and thanks for keeping it real guys and mom during the pandemic and all the love and just cool people. I will be coming back soon 2 days maybe and then again and again .. i give this place 5 stars for cleanliness I give them 5 stars on product and work into production that be juicing smoothies or the delicious food uts all bomb.. and the atmosphere is pretty cool too . It has a great vintage surf vibe indoors on the walls and its normally pretty fast just call ahead and things have always been r a adu even when I called din a hurry through town or whatever the case maybebe. This place ROVKS ! highly recommend this place. They close by 7 or 8 early i know that sondef more of a morning avacoto oast or an afternoon lunch or smoothie . But its perfect 👌 Too top it off I just had a guy confirm pretty much everything I said as we had a conversation about how great this place is as we waited for our orders. So double 5star guys...

I frequent laguna beach and have been dying to try this place. As a vegan it’s hard to find places that have delicious and nutritious food. One day the hubby called and they said they had minestrone and it was vegan…. Unfortunately they don’t have it everyday. On August 31st 2022(a day after my birthday) we stopped by to get some lunch after swimming at the near by beaches.

The girl who was there was so involved in her conversation with the cook she didn’t greet us or offer any opinions or suggestions. Her attitude and knowledge of vegan options at the place she works was horrid. She didn’t know if the wraps were pre-made or even what vegan was. She just shrugged her shoulders and went back to talking to the cook.

Such a major turn off for a potential first time customer and lovely area. I would definitely fire that girl because it’s going to end up costing a lot more customers. Such a disappointment won’t...

We stopped here for lunch a couple of times during our trip to Laguna Beach. We tried the Kale salad, avocado bagel and a couple of different smoothie options. I'd give it a 3.5 if I could, but am rounding up to a 4. Salad was great, loved the oat and berry smoothie, but the bagel would have been better toasted with the toppings more consistently sized - it was difficult to eat and a bit soggy. The outdoor patio was nice.

They also served everything on disposable single serve plastic both times we visited, which seemed unnecessarily wasteful. Overall I would recommend this place for a healthy...
