I never even write reviews but after my experience it was mandatory! Called to inquire about a possible special request for a cake order. Wasn't even able to explain what it was I was asking for with out being cut off over and over trying to just take a regular cake order. The person on The phone (clause) was not even listening to what I was really actually asking and cut me off with we can not help you. All I needed was a non decorated cake. I wasn't asking them to bend over backwards if anything it would have been an easier cake order then the rest. And with 3 weeks notice. I'm not just writing this review because I couldn't get what I was looking for. But because clause wouldn't not even let me explain what I was looking for. One of the ladies I worked with several years back used to bring Heidelberg's pastries and danishes in on Saturday. The best pastries I've eaten.

I had never tried their cakes until last year. For my birthday, one of my coworkers got a Heidelberg's chocolate cake with all of the chocolate trimmings. It was an amazing cake. As delicious as it was beautiful.

I have since purchased all of my cake needs there and will continue to do so. My birthday is coming up in a few weeks and my friend's birthday is the day before mine and we are celebrating together this year. We ordered a birthday cake for my daughter’s first birthday, it was a white cake with strawberry cream filled inside. It was decorated so beautifully with such minute details. Genius! It was one of the best cakes I’ve ever had. The guests who usually order their birthday cakes from one of the grocery stores or some bakeries in Irvine were pleasantly surprised by it.
