Second Reef Deli — Restaurant in Laguna Hills

I tried the Salt Creek (Reuben) and the Cloud Break (tuna).

The Rueben tasted good but it was a bit too greasy for me. I should have gotten a dill pickle to counteract the greasiness.

The Cloud Break was nice. The tomatoes were ripe and flavorful. The lettuce was quality chopped leaf lettuce. The lettuce had been dried so the sandwich wasn't soggy. I always love the zip alfalfa sprouts give a sandwich. The squaw bread was super fresh. I would order again.

The store is in a small good courtyard offering padded outdoor sofas. It was deserted at 2 p.m. On a sunny day, it would be a pleasant spot to sit outside for lunch.

20 for a sandwich thts falling apart because the kid making it put all the cucumbers, olives, onions etc on the top of the sprouts rather than on a flat surface ...and small ramikin side literallythe size of ranch was 1.99 rip off. Took 15 mims to make a sandwich when I was the only one there. I stopped off the freeway for a quick snack - they took forevermore and I was in there solo. Kids behind the counter taking about how he only slept 2 hours. Same kid but yours was likely outta irresponsibility and mine was because of fam emergencies. Some ppl have no self awareness. Ordered tonight from Second Reef. The food was ok. Expensive for the portion size which would have been ok if it tasted great but it was average at best. The service was below average as I ordered through via delivery service and they did not start the order until after the food service driver arrived which made my order late. On the positive note they had the best Greek Orzo salad that I have had in a long time. The Meatballs were mostly filler, the grinder rolls were very small, and the french rolls were two slices of white bread. Overall...
