Pho Saigon Gem — Restaurant in Laguna Hills

Pho is one of my kids' favorite food and I'm happy to see more option in our area.

For lunch, we had beef pho and vietnamese spring rolls as appetizers. Pho tasted good for southern orange county asian food standard and I would definitely come back for Pho. Portion was generous and all the ingredients appeared premium.

Deep fried Spring rolls were okay but not anything special.

I also had Vietnamese iced coffee but I was little disappointed. I used to go to a restaurant that would bring out the freshly brewed hot coffee in a mug and a glass of ice with condensed milk. You can tell the iced coffee is pre-made like most places in southern orange county. For 6 dollar iced coffee, I expect it to be freshly brewed.

Not long ago, I was able to get a bowl of standard pho cheaper than a bigmac meal(Bay area) It's kind of crazy to see a bowl going near 20 dollar mark.

For lunch, if I skipped on app and got two coffee and two bowl it would be about 40 dollars + tip. Which is acceptable for this area but not too exciting. I know food cost is crazy right now...

If you can have lunch combo like drink + pho for less than 15 bucks. I would come by more often for sure.

I'm giving 5 stars for now based on my one visit experience. I plan on going back soon to try other food.

I really hope this place improves and thrives. I don't want to risk being stuck on traffic for decent bowl...

I went to this restaurant when it was under different management and the pho was underwhelming. I decided to give the new restaurant a try and found the pho to be a lot better... I was very happy to see that they had Vietnamese iced coffee coffee as I've gone to a few restaurants lately that have not served that and erve that and to go to a Vietnamese restaurant and not have Vietnamese ice coffee Seems like a crime!! But I was happy To find it and it tasted delicious. I did order the truffle fries and while they were tasty it Seem to be a bit over priced…. basically it look like a medium McDonald's French fry cooked in truffle oil... $8.95 seemed a little overpriced for that. overall though I'll be coming back here for my pho and...

I came here to get something to eat after working a long shift. Its filling, good pricing, fast service, polite service, great atmosphere and decor, quality of food is wonderful. I love pho and have tried many spots, this one has that light flavor that you can mix with the ingredients (lemons spices ECT.) Jasmine tea is good 😊. It's super empty at 1-3pm Wednesday so if you need a spot to just sit without anyone around this is the spot. They have outside seating for those with pets. They have other options besides just noodles soups as well for those looking to eat something outside...
