What an amazing new gem!!! Something I never knew I needed, but now Iām hooked. Start to finish, it was an excellent experience. You walk into a cute little market, where authentic items you donāt see anywhere else are on offer, including leather cowboy hats (I purchased one, pictured) and creamed sweet potatoās. Youāre lead to the dining area which is indoor/outdoor in the best way and equipped for weather. The staff are attentive, organized and knowledgeable. The food is most certainly prepared to order, couldnāt have been tastier and authentic.
I got a bottle of Malbec (the one that stars w a G and is dry), the Chori & Marci - a grilled chorizo and blood sausage appetizer served w two dipping sauces and fresh bread. Pro tip: break the roll in two long ways, spread the blood sausage on the bread, top w the sauce and eat like an open faced sandwich. Followed that by the Picanha steak topped with homemade Chimichurri and by my choosing served with crispy potatoes. The steak was flavorful, perfectly cooked (rare+) and charred on the outside, infused with the smoke. Which was hard to not to be outshined by the potatoes, but man- were those amazing. Boiled then fried in beef tallow (thank you RFK) and seasoned to perfection. Looking forward to coming back often and indulging!
PS- I would advise to ignore the one negative review they have. Completely undeserved...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWe were really looking forward to dining here, but the experience was disappointing from the start. Our waiter made an inappropriate comment about my wifeās pregnancy, which immediately set the wrong tone. He also skipped going over the specials with us ā something we noticed he did for other tables nearby.
We ordered a ribeye to share. I wanted it medium rare, but my wife couldnāt have it that way, so the waiter suggested serving it medium rare first, then coming back to cook her half longer. Unfortunately, when our food arrived, he didnāt return for about 30 minutes ā long after I had already finished my portion ā to put her steak back on the grill.
We had several appetizers, but no one ever came by to clear the plates, even as we watched other tables receive attentive service. For a restaurant at this price point, the overall service and food quality were far below expectations.
The steak itself wasnāt particularly impressive either. If youāre looking for a great steak and professional service, your money would be much better spent at The Arthur J or...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreBrought my mom here for her birthday. The waiter forgot to put in our orders and after over literally an hour he blamed it on a ācrazy computer glitch that has never happened before.ā Then the manager came by and instead of apologizing, she kept making more excuses and tried to educate us on how wood ovens work. Just so condescending and zero accountability. Then we finally got our food 1 hour and 45 min after being seated and they messed up every single order. 3 of the 4 steaks ordered were cooked to the wrong temperature, we literally had to swap plates, and the potatoes in all 4 plates were cold. Before they brought the check they asked if there was anything they could do, and we asked for some alfajores to take home, and the waiter looked at us completely puzzled and instead brought us TWO TRAYS OF HAM AND CHEESE SANDWICHES TO TAKE HOME. How are you a waiter at an Argentinian restaurant and donāt know the name of their most classic dessert? It was just a masterclass in awful service and underwhelming food. If I could give zero...
