This review is way outdated and it was resolved completely! I have purchased quite a few items from both locations ever since, Newport and Aliso viejo. Last purchase 4 Cushions last week.

I am a regular visitor to this store as is my brother and my parents. This time we looked at couple of sofas and our salesperson, Amy Oats, placed a hold on it and asked me to give her my credit card to run an authorization for the value of sofas, over $1500. We never picked up the sofa and this was simply a hold if we decided to purchase. We decided not to go with the sofas as they were over larger than space we had in mind. To my shock the authorization turned into a payment and I contacted the store the following day indicating that there has to be a mistake. I placed a follow up call and spoke to Kristen that assured me this is a mistake and it will be credited back by day end. The conversation took place on Monday. No credit was given and i followed up the next day, Kristen picked up my call again and I was guaranteed to have it fixed. I called Store Manager, Lori Brown, avoided me from day one and has not returned my call.Again on Wednesday and finally today spoke to Amy(the salesperson) to learn that they are giving me store credit! I didn't expect to be charged, ignored and get $1500 on store credit from a consignment store. I have expressed my grave disappointment with the entire situation as I contacted them 5 times in past four days and not only have been contacted once but their story changed from apologies to taking my money and giving me store credits. I would avoid the Laguna Niguel store altogether and take this to my credit...

I had never been to a consignment store and was on the hunt for vintage items, so I decided to go in a couple weeks ago. I ended up finding a beautiful set of Waterford Sommelier series rocks glasses for $150 and purchased them understanding there are no returns, but happy with my purchase. A few days later while looking for other stemware by Waterford, I discovered the set I purchased from this consignment store sells brand new for $50. I looked at other reviews for this store and saw some pretty appalling experiences, so I held off on even contacting them, because I knew it would be pointless. I was happy with my purchase and wanted to try and enjoy what I bought with out feeling completely bamboozeled for going into a consignment store and paying 3x the cost of something. I just got off the phone with I believe Kathy, and as I assumed....absolutely no leeway in offering store credit, price adjustment or any attempt to appease me in any way. Beware of the quality and prices you are paying!!! Do your research before paying the price they are asking and take a look at the other negative reviews on social media and most importantly- managements responses...

I took my measurements and called to purchase my items on hold. I was told I could not have the 20% off it was store policy and the persons helping me said it was not them that told me that. If was someone fairly new. They asked me if I still wanted it and on principle I said no - and we are talking a difference of $30.00. This one piece was going to tie the other 9 pieces I was going to get to furnish at my NO LONGER go to store. It is unfortunate that the store would give up a +$2000.00 sale and 15 year customer for $30.00. What is worse is that all I got was well I didn't tell you that from the manager. Well that is not my problem or the consumers problem. Train your employee's better and take it out of her check. More from me on all the consumer websites regarding the terrible service, disrespect for loyal customers and employees who just don't care. My advice - Never Shop There Again. Or...
