Raising Cane's Chicken Fingers — Restaurant in Lake Charles

The sauce is the mf'ing bomb! Younger crowd, (McNeese is across the street) with a scattering of us ancient Americans to keep the student's from dancing on the tables, undoubtedly (imhmfo) the best chicken strips in Lake Charles (Lagniappe says!) I would happily eat there every day if I could, but I can't and life sucks! Move on. Happy, friendly, courteous staff. Extremely fast service, (MacDonald's model, make one thing, one way and do it well? Sorry MacDonald's doesn't compare, but I've ordered my food and took my cup to get a Coke and before the cup was full, my name was called, my order was ready. They have people patrolling the dining room, throwing away trash, wiping tables immediately and keeping the floor clean and tidy. This engenders a quick turnover and at the height lunch rush you come in, order and pay and by the time you get a drink, straw, ketchup and napkins, usually there would be a freshly cleaned table...

The Chicken, dipping sauce, and the toast are always incredible. The fries are also good, just not on the same level. I don't care for Cole Slaw ever, but I know many people who do enjoy it.

The lines are incredible long right now, frequently stretching out of the parking lot and down Ryan Street. Don't let this discourage you though, because Cane's has evolved to handle this extra business. We were probably the 15th car in line and still had our food in 7 minutes. I was very impressed by their ingenuity!

On my most recent trip we ordered the 25 strip tailgate box. When we got to the window the price was $12 more than what the sign suggested. Naturally, we changed our order at the window. Other than this strange occurrence, our experience at Cane's was great as we've come to expect. That's my only reason that this review...

This location is pretty quick to get people through the line. When I went in November, there were 2 drive-thru lines (dine in closed) and it was to the road full of people waiting. However, it literally took (at most) 20 minutes to get through the line and get my food. Staff was friendly, but lacked in directing people how the 2 lines were working (the outer line had to merge with the other line after ordering, but most didnt realize this). Food was hot and good as usual. Only reoccurring issue I've had at this location is when we order extra sauce, it's usually missing.

When compared to other Canes, this location has same quality food and fast service, but could improve on ensuring the order is complete and providing guests with more information...
