Raja's Curry Kitchen & Grill — Restaurant in Lake Charles

I ordered the lamb chop dinner today like 30 minutes ago 06/26/25 6pm the worst I ever ordered from there it use to not be like that years ago when I can called my order in I specifically ask the young girl how many lamb chops come with the dinner she said 5 lamb chops & rice that should have been a red flag there but I had an appetite for it when I got home and open it mind u I only got 4 of the lamb chops it was so sedated with rub on them I couldn't enjoy the taste of the lamb itself, the rice had lumps of rice in it just horrible I'm a good fanatic I love great tasting food and quality this was not worth $18 plus tax it will be my last time there and I will not give recommendations to this place, y'all have to do better than that or it's not for American culture to eat im questing I'm very sorry but I give honest reviews stop putting so much rub on the chops u can't enjoy the taste of the lamb. And for $20 it should have had two sides instead of just rice to it SMH....

Ordered lamb chops, looked strange. Bit into one and it was like bitting into a a baked Bologna. With some kind of thick seasoned paste. Used to make it thick and look like a lamb chop. Kid y'all not , I put one in my hand and slide this nasty paste off of one. When I finished , there was a little Bologna size thick piece of meat barely attached to the lamb chop bone. I asked the waitress what was going on. And she could not speak coherently enough to understand. So I lost $23.00 trying to be civil. I guess they're trying to save money , but that lamb chop is too expensive to ROB people with. Went with my son and a worker when they first opened. And the lamb chops weren't tampered with. Friday night, wanted to try something different so the wife and I gave it a try. Walked in and had one couple eating in, at this point I’m thinking I made a mistake. Sat down was waited on immediately. Ordered the butter naan and hummus for app, came out within minutes and the naan was fresh and hot. Hummus was on point as well. I had lamb curry and the wife had combo gyro. Curry was very tasty and the lamb was fork tender, the gyro plate came out totally different than what we expected but it was fantastic . They were closing up at 7 and the chef/owner we presume came out and gave us a lil bonus of baclava and some sweets to take home.! Great experience and will definitely eat here again....
