Tropical Smoothie Cafe — Restaurant in Lake City

Tropical Smoothie in Lake City Fl has never met the standards of what what the tropical smoothie franchise should be right from the beginning of what the hospitality needs should be, right down to how the presentation of the food and drinks need to be. In my experiences going there, I have been disappointed 80% of the time, I have no idea why I keep trying to see if they will ever improve. This time I went I had saved 1500 points up and was going to get a free wrap I chose a buffalo chicken wrap "it was horrible" they put so much buffalo sauce in it nothing else no veggies and very little chicken and said that was the way it came. I was not only disappointed, but very upset when I learned that the cashier swiped all my points off my account and reset my account to zero. I tried calling them they do not answer the phones. Love it... however my normal is an Baja chicken wrap the meal.... but tonight it wasn't it reason one this is an healthy food choice for me and many others and suppose to meet a certain number of calories but the wrap was way over loaded there for your not eating the calories listed on the website your over eating so I had to take food out my wrap which I never I had to do by the way tonight I feel like I wasted money I really didn't enjoy it but tropical smoothie cafe is a nice place to grab your smoothie or pick up some food it's really good when...

The five stars I’m giving is for the smoothies alone. I am absolutely addicted to their smoothies! I go to Planet Fitness almost every day, and I usually get the Beach Bum with added protein. It’s so ridiculously good! The Peanut Paradise smoothie is also delicious. I haven’t tried their food yet. The service when I go (around 7 pm) isn’t friendly. One of the ladies who works there is nice sometimes, but most of the time they are just really short and unfriendly. If I didn’t like their smoothies so much I honestly wouldn’t go.
