Waffle House — Restaurant in Lake City

Ashley was my waitress and WOW was I pleased with the service that I received! Ashley was my main waitress serving me at the bar, So I have to put emphasis on how well she did! Everything from welcoming me when I entered the restaurant to approaching me and asking what I would like to eat dealing with my indecisive hunger and directing me to a better meal deal for what I wanted to create simple chicken and eggs but some added complications I honestly was in a badd mood and was hoping waffle house would change that and it sure did I wish I could return and have witty reporter conversations with both of them and the chef But it doesn't stop there there was an older woman that brought my food and continued to smile and give a pleasant atmosphere throughout the restaurant Mikayla (Mykayla* I think) was another waitress that was amazing everything from taking other's orders to cashing me out at the end. And for the chef he created a meal that was prepared perfectly minimal grease perfect layout and presentation on the plate They all seem to enjoy working with one another I know that restaurants can get stressful Being from Georgia I've been to hundreds of waffle houses This one in particular due to the excellent service well prepared food and clean atmosphere Holds its own and should be rated number one in Florida Somebody get the chef with a blade tattooed on his right forearm a Master Chef Jersey

If you looking for a wallflower's that you can show up to drunk or sober bring the family and kids after church or be a heathen and raise a little Cain this is Home for You Best food best atmosphere & most Gorgeous waitress ever;) Thank You so much Ashley The chances are on never be back to this waffle house best of luck to all of You:)

The one negative was at the end of my meal another chef walked in and I think he needs to re evaluate how he communicates with the workers there and how he trains the other chefs he had a cover on his beard and was quite rude to the other chef that was doing...

I was the only one there ordering at that time and it still took them 10 minutes to fix me a waffle (the only thing I ordered). Then, to my horror, my waitress, who doesn't wear gloves when handling your drink or silverware, coughed into her hands and then DIDN'T wash them before going to complete another work-related task. She did ask if something was wrong after she seen me try to discretely flag down a different waitress, and I told her, to which she responded by apologizing, washing her hands, and getting me new silverware and drink (she didn't cook or deliver my food, otherwise I would've just left because I was on my 30-minute lunch break and didn't have time to wait for another waffle)... But I tried to help her by giving her tips like "try coughing into your elbow instead" and everything I suggested, she had an excuse of why she wouldn't remember to do that saying "it's just a habit" instead of being like "oh yeah, good suggestion"... So I still left feeling very...

0% pet friendly restaurant, I was outside the restaurant I DID NOT EVEN ENTER THE PLACE I was ordering online so as not to bother inside with my pets and I can't even do that. They kicked me out of the front of the restaurant! With a contemptuous expression and an ironic tone the woman who was in front of the restaurant told me that I had to leave the place because they did not tolerate animals! Before even entering my husband went in to ask if they were pet friendly to which they replied yes, 2 minutes later they kicked me out of the place and then she approached my husband to apologize because it seems that the restaurant's policies did allow pets. One of my dogs is a service dog I CAN'T GET AWAY FROM HER FOR A SECOND! But thanks to these types of places, pet owners have to shut up and leave the place as if we were scum.
