The parking lot exterior and interior look very welcoming. The hostess was very nice and polite and the waitress was very nice. We ordered our food almost an hour later we had thought we had been forgotten about because after placing the order our waitress disappeared (please remember this is during the pandemic so seating was limited the place wasn't that busy). Finally our two sons receive their meals and almost "10" to "15" minutes later my wife and I received ours. My wife ordered omelette and pancakes and started with her omelette first. When she started on her pancakes she found several (4-7ct.) fresh cut hair between the plate and the pancakes. On our waitress finally came around my wife notified her and showed her the hair, the waitress unsure of what she should do said she would contact the manager. The waitress then left our table leaving the plate with the hair having us all to watch and look at the plate and having us all lose our appetite because of this. The waitress returned stating the manager would be taking $1.59 I believe that's what it was I can't remember the exact price but it was some ridiculous amount for the cost of the pancakes. Of course we didn't accept this as a refund and the waitress said she would call the manager out to talk to us. When the manager finally came out she said that was the best she could do is to refund us for the pancakes not being ate. I told the that my wife and only taking two bites from her omelette and now has lost her appetite as we all had. The manager said well I'm sorry that is the best I can do do to her meaning my wife had eaten her omelette. My wife and I letting the manager know that this was unacceptable.., the manager then stating that she could take half of the cost of the omelet off because half of it had been eaten which of course two bites of their omelet is not half. In my opinion my wife's entire meal should have been deducted from the bill "at the least". I myself have ate at numerous IHOP locations across the US and this by far was the worst I have ever seen anyone treated at an IHOP before. Me and my family or anyone in my family will be eating at this IHOP again I'm not encouraging you not to go there I just say highly inspect your food and plate before you start your meal. One of the largest regrets I have is because of our disgust we are not take a photo of the plate with the hair in it. I have reviewed many restaurants that I have eaten at across the US and typically give high reviews I have rarely giving a one-star review if I could give negative Stars I would...

My family and I have been guests at IHOP for a long time. We have come to love it over the years and make it our weekend breakfast spot almost every weekend. We have gone to the IHOP in Lake City a few times to try it out as we had moved to the area just recently. We liked our experience there so we continued going. Today when I went for breakfast with my in-laws we were greeted nastily by our server Shay Prior who immediately asked for order before we had the opportunity to open our menus. After we gave her our drink orders she proceeded to serve the next table with customer service we had yet to receive. Upon receiving our food, we noticed that the food that was ran was incomplete and not plated correctly. We had mentioned this to the food runner who responded with attitude stating “ma’am I’m just the food runner. She asked for me to help and that’s what I’m doing. Hold on.” Moments afterwards, Shay followed into the kitchen and started yelling “OH JESUS. OHHH JESUS.” She came to our table and asked us what was wrong and said she would come back with the remainder of what we were missing. I also told her that the iced coffee I was served tasted nothing like the one I was served the last time I was there and preferred water instead. She snatched the coffee off from the table and came back with another that looked like brewed coffee with a splash of creamer (meaning it was extremely dark) and said “here try that.” I said to her “ma’am I’m sorry but this doesn’t even look right.. I’m sorry I I just don’t want this, water is ok for me.” And while waking into the kitchen she said “don’t drink it then.” After that, my family and I got up and we spoke to the hosts in the front regarding her behavior. It had not been the first time she treated my family in this manner. The first time we spoke to the manager and although the manager apologized there has clearly not been any sort of disciplinary action taken with this woman. We felt we were being discriminated against just for being who we were. This behavior was distasteful and unacceptable in a place of service and I’m sure we were not the only family she has behaved this way with. With all due respect, she should not longer be employed here and if we are to experience this once again, we will take legal action for discriminatory treatment allowed to occur under...
Read moreThis is our 2nd time going to this IHOP. We were really hoping that all the hype was worth it. The first time was months ago and we were not impressed with the service or food.
We decided to try to give it a try again, we were not at all impressed with the SERVICE.
First of all when the server came to talk to us a few times she called us BABIES. She said can I get you Babies anything else. My husband is over 50, I am 47 and our daughter is 12. Why would someone address anyone when they first address them as BABIES.
When we ordered I asked if I could have the BLTA without the Tomatoes. There is a GOOD reason I did not want tomatoes on the sandwich as I am ALLERGIC to them. If they had a BLA I would get that. I was told no problem. Of course my sandwich HAD the tomatoes on them.
My husband asked for one item to be on a separate plate, you guessed it was on the same plate.
Then what bothered us was how our meals were delivered.
1st delivery was the fries that went with my daughter’s order and the toast that went with my husband’s order.
5 minutes later…..
2nd delivery was the 2nd part of my daughter’s order and a plate that was part of my husband’s order with the item he asked to be on a separate plate.
5 minutes later…..
The last part of our daughter’s order and the last part of my husband’s order (the pancakes)
5 minutes later….
My complete order that was STILL wrong in that it had an item I specifically asked not to be on it as I was ALLERGIC to it. Oh and we had to ASK for the syrup for the pancakes that brought out 5 minutes earlier. Plus he had to remind her he had ordered a milk.
5 minutes
We FINALLY get the syrup & the milk.
So in all we were delivered our meals piece by piece by piece over 15-20 minutes.
Either the cooks don’t know how to cook the meals so they are served together OR the servers don’t know how to server the meals together.
They seem nice enough but we won’t be back. The previous IHOP and the people who ran it knew what they were doing. Yes the restaurant building is new and nicer. If the service and food are sub par...
