Hello Beignet Spot, I wanted to say that the presentation of your food is absolutely fantastic. We ordered a ton to-go because we were excited about trying your beignets, and meals for lunch.
The staff and ambience of your establishment is so cozy, and quaint. It has an amazing look on the inside and I love that you can see through into the kitchen where they make the dishes and Beignets. It was moderately packed on a Saturday, but the tables were clean, floors were clean, everything was organized in a grab and go station for condiments and other necessities for coffee.
Your cashier, that rang us up was really polite and sweet she explained to us the difference between getting the Beignet Flight which is two and two of each. Please correct me if I’m wrong, and explained with the difference and details of getting separate the 6 and 6 of the Peach Cobbler, and Banana Foster. We of course chose to get 12! We loved everything we ordered, and the prices are perfect for the sizes of your dishes, Breakfast or Lunch.
In my photos here is what we ordered: #11 Rustic Salad, #9 Fried Chicken & Beignets, #8 B Spot Loaded Fries, and Under the title, “Artisan” we ordered the 6 Peach Cobbler Beignets, and the 6 Banana Foster Beignets, also we got the dippins of Caramel, Ranch for the Chicken dishes and their B-Spot Sauce we also got whipped cream. You’ll see that it was on the side, and I like that we get to put it on ourselves because it’s easier to know how much we want.
I have never tried a Beignet before, and both the Peach and Banana I would order a million times over. This place just opened, they have amazing staff, and minimal reviews so if you decide to order here, leave them a review it’s incredibly worth it. The chicken itself in my Rustic Salad with the Pineapple was incredibly delicious. Perfectly cooked Crispy Chicken, and I love the entire dish with the Pineapple, and Kale and onions. It’s mouthwatering. I would absolutely order again. Have a...
Read moreIf you can train your staff to be more patient and a bit more accommodating I would rate your store at 5 stars. I had called to place an order for pick up and I was told I needed to order online when I was literally sitting outside the store in my car and I wanted to use cash to pay not my debit card. I understood using the app was the only way to place an order but not having another option for payment except via credit or debit card is not very accommodating or inclusive. The person who initially answered the phone was very short with me. I asked to speak with a manager and was told the same thing. The issue I had was that I had two dogs who I was told could not come in and I wasn't going to leave them in the car on a hot day. I wanted to place my order, run in and pay when my order was ready and leave. I eneded up using the app and my debit card and waited 10 minutes for my order to be ready. I stepped out of my car and left it running with the AC on. I went to the pickup window and received my order pretty quickly. I'm from New Orleans and your beignets are very good. Maybe consider your pre order methods for those who may have circumstances that keep them from using debit or credit cards or at the very least train your employees to be more patient with explaining policies and I will happily give your...
Read moreI visited 5/27/25 at 7:45 and nothing requiring hot oil was available - namely, BEIGNETS. Interesting business model - I imagine workers aren't paid to show up BEFORE opening to start the process. I left without trying anything. Thanks!
Well, I couldn't give only a single star without trying anything, so I returned 30 minutes later - after being advised the oil would be hot enough for their signature item. I ordered the BS Combo ('BS' signifying Beignet Spot, presumably) - for $19.91 I received a paltry portion of egg (scrambled), tater tots, and a hot dog (euphemistically called 'sausage') plus FOUR of the items for which the place is named. These were BURIED in powdered sugar, which, when I dumped most of it off, I discovered were crispy outside and raw on the inside. I ate them anyway - mistake! All day nausea...
Overall, the service was good, the place was clean - all tableware etc. was paper and plastic throwaway crap. The napkin dispenser was one of those designed to discourage over-consumption, but then you have to jam your fingers in and end up pulling out a giant wad just to get a single napkin.
My Elsinore hosts were completely unaware of this place, though they live right around the corner.
I'll be astounded if this place is still here next...
