I came across this gem one afternoon as I was heading back home. I was greeted by the cashier named Yvonne and she recommended me the Hawaiian BBQ mix. It came with rice, macaroni salad, BBQ chicken, BBQ beef, and short ribs! The portion is massive (I usually eat a lot and I almost couldn't finish it). Once I am done with the food, the chef named Mr. Ho asked if I find the taste good. I just showed him the empty plate that I devoured. There are a variety of drinks ( I definitely recommend the Hawaiian Sun selections that sits on the counter. Any flavor is fine because it can't go wrong with the brand. I will definitely be back for more food.

You tell me if this is acceptable Mauii Hawaiian BBQ! My chicken is literally charred, but the rest of my food is good as usual. You guys need to find your rhythm again and stop being lazy... I actually told your guy at the register that my chicken was burnt and I waited for over 25+ minutes, and I wasn't waiting any longer.

This place is a disgusting shell of what it once was … absolutely horrible conditions, insanely dirty inside , smells of black mold. My wife wanted to leave from the start . I gave them a chance , opened my food and literal bugs came out !!! THIS PLACE SHOULD BE SHUT DOWN ITS A PANDEMIC BREEDING ZONE . 🤮🤢

Don’t let the reviews completely discourage you from trying this place out. I went for the first time a few days ago and it was great! I ordered pick up online and the transaction was smooth and painless. Didn’t take long to get my food, and man it was ALOT of food lol I ate so much but a lot was still on the plate, I got the chicken katsu lunch plate with a side of spam matsubi (not sure if I’m spelling these names right haha). Everything was great the Mac salad was delicious, rice was nicely cooked and the matsubi was BOMB. The chicken of course was tasty, highly recommended. :-) I will be ordering from here in the future. Lived around the area for two years now, and ordered many times from here. I like the friendliness of the woman worker who is usually there, but tonight she wasn't and her husband/coworker was working the register. Not only was he rude to me but I had to wait 40 minutes for two Hawaiian BBQ mix. It wasn't busy as it usually is, only one person in the restaurant with me.

No matter the time, the day, or how many people there is, always expect a 30-40 minute wait on average. Either call ahead(like an hour before pickup)or head down the street to ono Hawaiian BBQ. Same food, but...
