Visited with family. We were 6. Only outdoor seating was available as this was 7/4/2020 around 10-12 staff was sparce. Only about 6-7 tables in a very small area outside available. Worst part Denny's is it was 100 degrees and you had No Shade for your Tables!! That should be a real huge I'm sorry before seating people not after they're leaving and burnt to a crisp. Social distancing is one thing but not giving shade to some is a whole other!! You can't put people in the direct Sun light without shade sweating like Construction workers all dressed nice when you feel like it. You need to buy umbrellas for your Tables!! Not having umbrellas is a health hazard. Not a way to get people to leave quickly. You need a better management. It's a huge safety risk putting a person disabled in direct sun using a cane. It's shameful. Had we not been hungry and had no where else to go we would have left immediately. Customer service sadly was not the usual friendliness you see at most Denny's. A New hire was there. She seemed to be the most friendly in the group. Others seemed rather rude to her off way. Is rudeness now a thing there?? Our waiter was a bit rude. Being during a pandemic gave him some leeway but he continued throughout entire time there plus he seemed to ignore us when ever possible. Management was there but useless. I have been to Denny's over the years lots but this management might as well been the dishwasher for all he was doing. At least while we were there No greeting at the door. If only doing outside seating why not put sign on door saying so?? Or on a window. It would help stop flow of people not wanting to sit outside. Stop the Rudeness at the door yes because no sign can cause people to get really angry after waiting and then finding out ohh so No indoor seating. Damn we are gone and angry now! People walking in waiting only to find out that there are basically 6-7 table total and outside only. Wait time depends on what people do who are already inside eating. Manage standing there or staff not saying anything until your turn comes up. That's what causes people to leave angry. So much easier to post sign and "welcome people while saying "Thank you for choosing Denny's however we only have takeout and outdoor seating for your safety and our employees currently. Please feel free to order takeout at table such an such from so an so or please add your name on our wait list to be seated outdoors as soon as we have a spot available. Thank you so much for your patronage and patience today and always. We appreciate you". Kindness gets so much further during these difficult times than neglecting or ignoring your customers who are already frustrated. Who have been stuck in their homes or jobs for days on end....
Read moreI wish it were possible to give less than a star, this place deserves it. I knew I was in trouble when a lady came up looking like a clown with blond hair and red tips on it in an arrangement that looked like little trees. She came to me and that is when I realized that she worked there. She asked me how I placed my order and did not seem to get that I ordered online. Once she and a coworker went to the back and I could see them arguing and slamming down receipts, the hair lady emerged and began running across the parking lot after someone. Another lady came and questioned me again, asking my name, how did I order. We are now 15 minutes past my pick up time. The second lady emerged telling me that she had my order together and had all my butter and syrup. One problem, I did not order pancakes or anything else that required butter or syrup. I told her the pancakes she gave me were not mine. No problem she says...she began taking the pancakes out. She left butter and syrup in my bag with chicken fingers, chicken burrito and hard fried chicken "tenders" that should be called CHICKEN ROCKS. I had to ask for ranch dressing, bar b que sauce and marinara sauce for my sampler platter. Further, when I got home, I did not have celery sticks and the chicken burrito was not edible. I will NEVER go here again. Just like the post office in the Shell station, UPS store on Grape, the Tmobile, nearby, you cannot get good service in this area. My initial attempt was to get delivery. They said they delivered 7 am to 3 am. Wrong. The website rejected my request and said they were closed. I had to reenter the order for a pick up. I called to speak to the manager the next day and no one answered. I will go to Dennys in Wildomar next time. Avoid this Dennys. You will regret doing...
Read moreI had the Endless Breakfast with bacon, hash browns, scambeled eggs w cheese, and pancakes all for $8.99.
It's called "endless" because you can get a free refill on the whole breakfast except the meats only there is about a $4 charge for the extra meat. So allow me to reiterate, so that is now $8.99 + $4 more dollars for the breakfast meat on the second round so 2×s breakfast For $13 plus tax. Wow you can't beat that. The 1st round is plenty of food to honest. however I suppose I could have even had another 3rd round if I could have eaten the 1st or the 2nd one what a deal Denny's great job. I did take the second refill to go. I also ordered a glass of milk and coffee. I'm specific I like my milk super cold so I have them place it in the freezer. This request usually makes my waiter or waitress forget to bring my milk with my breakfast. Not this time "Arthur" (my waiter) did not forget my milk, I requested my eggs to be soft scrambled "I know I'm picky" and to my pleasant surprise I got my order exactly the way I wanted it. This Denny's probably one of the best experience I've ever had or anywhere for that matter. You do get what you pay for With that being said, in general , my expectations for Denny's are not that high but this time my expectations were exceeded Bravo Denny's this Denny's was exceptional. Thank you Denny's and Arthur, keep up the great work. I want to say Thank you to Beth the manager , Arthur my waiter, Sue, another server whom made sure my coffee was hot and full and to Denny' s in lake Elsinore for finally getting it right. With milk and coffee my whole breakfast was...
