I heard about this establishment all the way in Minnesota and I wanted to go out for a little ride on the motorcycle. The bar and grill was a good hour and a half away with traffic. So when we rode up I love the fact that they were motorcycle friendly, they have a spot for only Motorcycles to park. Also there was plenty of parking for vehicles, they even had parking in back of the bar and grill. When we came in we were greeted by a gal named Sierra, she was very kind, helpful, and patient with us.
Seeing as though it was our first time we had to look over the menu thoroughly to make sure we were certain on what we wanted to eat. We ended up getting the chips and buffalo chicken dip for an appetizer. Sierra put in our order and the app came out fairly quick. It was very delicious, I like how it had a nice zip to it but not to over the top where you would need to find water to cool off. I ordered the buffalo chicken wrap, and my other half ordered the quesadilla tender melt.
The cook was very friendly, and we gave him our feedback on the dip we had, how great it was. When our food arrived it looked delicious, and we couldn't wait to give it a try. The food was really good, everything was seasoned just right. We were also greeted by Tiffany, checking to see how we were doing. I really like feeling special, the locals seemed like good people, everyone at the bar and grill were friendly, kind, and helpful.
We will definitely have to return to this establishment, I wish all restaurants could take some notes from Sierra and Tiffany's book on how a customer should feel when they go to an establishment. It's the little things, and this place has it figured out. Thank you for making my visit wonderful, I'll see you all next time. Almost forgot I loved the decor, the signs, and everything it looked really nice...
Read moreFirst time going to this joint and I find the regulars certainly get special treatment! An older couple enters and sits down next to me. It doesn't take long before I realize there's history between them and the bartender. After she rings the couple up I hear the man say he has a penny as they must've been a penny short. The bartender says "Don't worry about it" and goes on about her business. I assume she's pulled a penny from the tip jar or some sort of spare change holder. Well, a couple of days later I see the bartender charged a $0.01 charge to my card aside from the tab I accrued. Now, here's the thing. You ask me for a penny, I'll run out to my car, grab some lose change and make it rain!! That, however, was underhanded. It's the principal of the thing. And I can tell you what that one cent cost them. My business. I'm not one of these people who says I won't give someone my business and go back on my word either. When I'm done with a business or organization, that's it. I'm done. And perhaps you may see things differently but for me even the slightest of deception is too much. Not to mention how...
Read moreI'll start by saying that I enjoyed myself on my visit, but it didn't add up to an objectively great experience. Their outdoor Tiki bar was the highlight for me (inside was packed, so no qualms there), watching a Packers game with a group outside. The servers were polite, and the outdoor area is dog-friendly. I enjoyed a couple beers hamming it up with a few people about the game. They were raffling off free drinks every quarter, which was fun. The downside was that my burger was pretty mediocre and the fries were barely warm. It did take a while for my food to show up, though the place was very busy. The patio allowed smoking, which diminished my experience, but I get it. The big downside is the bathroom situation, which is a port-a-john. Mercifully I didn't have to use it.
I had fun, but certain contributing factors just didn't really make it great. I'm glad I swung through, but it seems like there are a few clear opportunities for...
