McKee's Pub & Grill — Restaurant in Lake Havasu City

This place deserved its own post.

When we arrived, the place was very busy, but we grabbed a booth right away.

The last one.

There was no server on, so I went to the Bart, and he took our drink order and said we had to order food at the kitchen window.

Both bartenders were slammed but very cordial, as professional as a dive bar needs to be and got us exactly what we ordered.

Also, my beer glass never went empty.

Somehow, with all that was going on, including the way too short skirts at the pool table, the guys kept drinks in front of us as we ate.

So, at the kitchen window, was the solo cook doing all she could to get the food out, take orders, and she was at least 10 tickets deep.

What was impressive was that she was very pleasant even with being in the weeds.

About mid order, another lady took over the taking of our order.

Turned out she was the owner.

She and her husband saw on the security cameras on their phones that they were getting slammed, so they came down to make sure their guest and staff were taken care of.

With the husband owner taking over the dish room, the wife finished our order, and a short time later she delivered our food.

These are the moments that great owners are made for, and what small buisness all over the country do to stay afloat in a sea of regulations, high taxes, and inflation.

Also, the wings were the closest to Spicys wings I have had since 2008, at Spicys. In other words, EXCELLENT.

Hands down best bar and grill in town. Got those 'cheers' vibes. Ally, Brenda & Kristina are fantastic bartenders during the day. They have dart tournaments and a casual poker night if you're looking for local events. Food is great with daily specials. I really enjoy the "always" made from scratch clam chowder and hand battered cod fish fry every Friday. Can't beat all day happy hour available 7 days a week where domestic draft pints are $2.50 from 10 AM to 5 PM!! We gave this place a shot 3xs. 1st time was during a Car Show Event Downtown, & their Patio was actually open. We really enjoyed it & they welcomed our 2 Dogs. We aren't sure why they don't have the Patio open all the time? Next 2 times were inside only & despite us being very friendly & understanding, the Staff was rude. They made us feel like we were bothering them while ordering drinks. The only Food we ate from there was the Chicken Noodle Soup Special, which was over priced for what we got.
