My dad had ordered a black iced coffee. He said no milk or syrup and they said “black sounds great!” When we got it with milk, I went to go get it switched out because he and I can’t have milk or sugar.
The worker was annoyed, peeled the sticker off the cup, gave me a cup of iced coffee without ice and said, “Next time, you need to say no milk and no classic syrup.” So I said we did and repeated it back to her; she responded, “Well I’m just telling you.” A co-worker of mine was standing next to me and we both were shocked by how she spoke to me.
So I get out to the car and we call the manager explaining the situation. He responded with, “Actually, I witnessed the whole thing and you were wrong. She was just trying to explain how to order, and she wasn’t the one who took your order.” I told him I understood but that the way she spoke was very inappropriate. He continued to repeat that he witnessed it and said I was in the wrong and hung up on me.
Mind you there were people around me including, like I said, a co-worker that even said all they had to do was apologize for make a mistake and everyone makes them.
I was a mess afterwards. I’ve never ever been treated that way, so we will not be returning.
I can get whipped cream for her or an ice cream cone. No one deserves that kind of treatment, even the mean customers...
Read moreI rarely go to this location because I have had a few minor not so good experiences here before, but today we visited this location. 2 out of the 5 drinks were made correct and how they should taste. My drink was only filled 3/4 of the way which never happens anywhere else. When I brought this to their attention the lady had the audacity to tell me that , this is the way this drink is always made. I order this drink else where at least twice a week and never does it not get filled to the top. I didn't ask for light ice or anything like that and most definitely it was missing a few of the espresso shots. I can definitely tell, the drink was so light and I can tell taste wise, can't fool me, I'm an avid caffeine drinker and I can tell the difference,the other 2 frappes were made and did not taste as they should. I most definitely now remember as to why I avoided this location, this is the issues I have experienced other times and I never have complained. But this time I wasn't just ordering for myself I was ordering for my entire family. Staff needs better training. It doesn't matter how busy they are drinks should be...
Read moreFor starters, if you're in Lake Jackson and craving Starbucks, travel to the Starbucks in Kroger, they are surprisingly delightful and the drinks are great! I've been going here off and on for years, I can't remember one single time that the staff wasn't totally rude. They run around behind the counter like chickens with their heads cut off, absolutely in a hurry. I understand that behavior and "go, go, go" mentality when it IS busy, but just now there was literally one car in the drive thru and two people before me. The "barista" taking our order couldn't even greet us. It was like we were burdening her by being there. But I should expect this as it is quite similar every time. Again, as I previously mentioned, just travel to the Kroger and get that Starbucks, avoid the bitchiness of these people.
Update: We've been going here a lot more often recently. We found there are specific people who still do act as I mentioned previously, but for the most part our coffee drinks come out as they should, and we aren't treated like as if we're a complete nuisance all the time.
