I never thought I would writing a review like this about Texas Roadhouse. We have been loyal patrons for nearly 20 years and in that time I can think of no visit that did not rate 4 to 5 stars. Today, was not one of those visits. I would rate this one as disappointing. As it was a Tuesday night, customers were light.. We were slowly greeted and motioned to stand aside by the hostess as she was occupied in conversation with a friend(?). Upon completion of her discussion, finally we were acknowledged and escorted to our table back by the restrooms. The bright spot to our visit was our server. Our server was a delight, eager to serve and standing by for any requests and he checked on us often. The food however was a different story. My portobello mushroom chicken came out with one tiny piece of a mushroom total. My wife's steak was so rare I swear I could hear a moo when she cut into it. More mushroom sauce was sourced from the kitchen and the steak was sent back to the cooks. After about 15+ minutes, the steak was brought back out by the manager. She came up to the table brusquely getting into my wife's personal space requesting she cut into the steak and confirm it was okay. I made a joke to lighten the situation as my wife was visibly shaken by the attitude and command, which fell on deaf ears. My wife began to cut into the steak and was quickly directed to cut somewhere other than the first cut which she was already doing. One look at the steak and it was obvious that it was not much different than it was the first time. By now my wife was very hungry and just wanted this issue over. The manager kept badgering her to acknowledge that the steak was acceptable. She acquiesced to get her to leave and we sat in silence taking in what just happened. No explanation for our food issues, no apology and no comp. Once we had finished and paid, our circuities route out to the front lead us past one of the wait staff stations. As my wife rounded the corner, she almost tripped on one of the buss boy buckets and towel laying on the floor behind three wait staff huddled at the entry terminal. As we passed by, I shot a glare back at the three and one of them nudged the bucket up against the wall with her foot. At the hostess station we were stopped dead in our tracks by a planted mob waiting to enter/exit/stare blankly off into the distance. The hostesses were none to eager to offer assistance. Although Texas Roadhouse is one of my wife's favorite restaurants, I will not be eager to go again any time soon, especially if this ...
Read moreThis is hands down the worst experience I have ever had a TR in the state of Texas. So let’s start off with the only two things that were good; the bread and our drinks!
The appetizer we got was the rattlesnake bites and they weren’t even cooked well at all. The salads were alright but the ranch was really thick and had kind of a weird taste to it also.
For the most disappointing part of the evening was the most delicious expensive thing we paid for... they can’t cook a steak if their life depended on it. I would have gotten a redo but I’m pretty sure that they would have just cooked that terribly too. So what’s the point. It was a horrible cut of meat, that was cooked terrible and had absolutely only one flavor and that’s charcoal. I still taste the bottom of a grill. The green beans which are usually the best and hardest to mess up were also just very weird, weren’t cooked in the flavors long enough and also very bland.
Tyler was our server and I feel like he did okay besides feeling like we were being rushed to turn a table and I have been in the service industry waitress and bartender for a lot of years so I get it but not to the point where your customers feel pushed out, also we felt like it’s pointless to ask how the food was and for us to be like, “it’s really terrible” and then to have our waiter just walk off... granted later after the check was paid on the kiosk he asked if we wanted to have the bill adjusted and then apologized for the food being terrible but we had already paid our tab and the response, lack of care for customer satisfaction and the terrible food already left a bitter taste in my mouth.
Like let me put it to yall this way— my kid even said his hot dog was terrible and the Mac and cheese tasted like literally only the water it was cooked in. We paid $90 for two $22 steaks that didn’t get ate, a kids meal that didn’t get ate, and an appetizer that also didn’t get ate lmao. Beware of this location. Worst steaks hands down and absolutely bland “reminds me of when I was in the hospital and couldn’t have spices” type of food. How you can miss the mark by THIS much is just simply amazing. 👎🏼

Read moreNevER ever again!!! First of all these are the pictures that I brought home. We originally went to "dine in". So I'll start from the end. the ribs was literally off the bones. It appears to be somebody else's leftovers. Potato Black mold. I asked for the steak rare to medium rare and it was well done.
The sour cream and butter and the condiments were leaking. No I did NOT shake up the bag nor tear up the meat myself.
Now let's start from the beginning!!! We were taken to the table that was still being cleaned by a staff member leaning over the table, waiting for him to finish up as we watched him work hard at it.
We ordered the following the blossom Onion. . Never arrived Cesar salad with mozzarella cheese, not parmes. Not parmesan. The waitress asked if I needed something else. More cheese and croutons please!. The salad only had two croutons. I began to eat the salad and it was warm. Not room temperature, but warm. About 10 minutes later the waitress came back and told us that they don't have any lemonade and asked me if I still wanted the cheese and croutons. The wilted lettuce was nearly gone. We also overheard that the table next to us was advised that they don't have any Dr pepper and that their steak was wrong! I ordered the sirloin with ribs with grilled onions and green beans. I got well done ribs and a smothered steak with mushrooms. I'm allergic to mushrooms. The green beans or saltier than a pretzel. So was the Texas Roadhouse roadkill smothered in mushrooms. The macaroni and cheese when nothing to rave about, it was bland! The waitress came back took my plate and told me that I was getting a 30% discount. Shortly after that she came and check on us and we let her know about the roadkill and offered also a 30% off. We waited 24 minutes for them to pack our meal to go. It was huge mistake! The pictures reflect the meal. The road kill I brought home still was salty but without mushrooms. Yes yes the waitress was very apologetic but never did I get a manager or a good meal out of this visit. Like I said in the beginning never ever ever again will we go to this location and never recommend...
