Chicken Salad Chick — Restaurant in Lake Mary

I frequent this store (as you can see I redeemed 150 reward points for a free large quick chick), todays service was a complete 180 from the normal service I get.

Diondre took my order, and some how rang up a large soup for my girlfriend (which wasn’t requested) for her BLT meal. We paid, and sat down to wait for our food.

About 10-15 minutes later we’re looking at each other wondering where our food is? I got up, went to the counter which was unmanned and our food was sitting in the window between the kitchen and front counter, I had to raise my voice and get ahold of the manager in the back wearing a red shirt to come up front and get the food for me. I had requested a side of sour cream for each of the 2 potato soups when we ordered the food and only 1 was provided (not a huge deal, just adding it to explain in detail how many opportunities were missed to get the service correct today).

Got the food , sat down to eat, and the soup was barely room temperature, it was almost cold. It was not warm, and it surely was not hot. I got up and had to get the managers attention again to send the soup back. About 5 minutes later the soup was warmed up (in the same cup, could tell because it had the same soup drippings down the side of the container from when I initially received them), they had been microwaved.

This was pretty out of the ordinary , terrible service and quality of food today. The manager didn’t offer any apology or any incentive, benefit for the incorrect / below standard food we were served or the lack of service including leaving our order in the window for 10-15 minutes.

It should be noted diondre was coming out of the restroom when I was standing at the front counter asking for my food, and I understand people have to take restroom breaks, but let your coworkers know so someone else could have ran our food so it didn’t sit there and get cold, causing the soup to Ave to...

This is a very good place for a chicken salad fix. Was greeted immediately by Jessica and offered various suggestions of their favorite menu items. Decided to go with the trio, which included a chicken salad sandwich, choice of a side (decided to go with the pasta salad), and a choice of another item (did the pumpkin cheesecake for dessert). Was offered samples of various chicken salads before deciding on the Kickin’ Kay Lynne which was a spicier chicken salad with siracha, jalapenos, bacon, cheddar, ranch dressing, and Buffalo sauce. The sandwich was delicious, with a good kick of the spices. It could have been a little spicier, but still had a good hint of siracha taste. Wish the sandwich had lettuce and tomato, but I guess that wanted to focus on the favor of the chicken salad. It did have a slice of pickle though.The pasta salad side was good, with al dente pasta and olives. The pumpkin cheesecake was rich, but made an great dessert with the right amount of pumpkin and spices. Also included was a cookie, which I haven't tried yet. All of this was only about 10 dollars which is very reasonable for all was included. It also came with a small cooler bag as part of a promotion. This place is so consistent - always friendly, always tastes amazing and always ready to go above and beyond. Quick service, whether you dine in, go drive thru or opt for take-out/curbside. The app and rewards program are both solid and it's one of the best quick lunch options (hence the "quick chick") in all of the Lake Mary, Heathrow and Sanford area.

Everyone I have introduced this awesome place to has enjoyed it, with like 10+ different chicken salad options and baked potato soup on the menu daily, how can you not?

And if you happen to go during the right season and see the Madame Curry on the menu, it is TO DIE FOR. Hands down, the best.
