We visited this restaurant for a team dinner and tried a variety of vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes. Here’s a breakdown of our experience: Appetizers Vegetarian: • Curry Leaf Gobi and Karapodi Gobi – Both were bursting with flavor and spice; perfect for those who enjoy a bold taste. Highly recommended for spice lovers. • Paneer Manchurian – Just average. Didn’t quite stand out compared to the other items. Non-Vegetarian: • Karapodi Chicken – Absolutely delicious! One of my personal favorites of the evening. • Mirapakaya Kodi Vepudu – Packed with bold flavors and spice; a must-try dish. • Goat Pepper Fry – Outstanding! Cooked perfectly with an excellent spice balance. • Fish Appetizers – Surprisingly good, well-seasoned, and fresh. Main Course Vegetarian: • Persis Paneer Biryani – Excellent! Rich flavor and aromatic spices made this the highlight among vegetarian mains. • Veg Fried Rice – Disappointing. Lacked flavor and depth; I wouldn’t recommend it. Non-Vegetarian: • Chicken Dum Biryani and Goat Dum Biryani – Both were flavorful, aromatic, and cooked to perfection. • Andhra Chicken Curry – A bit milder in spice compared to the rest, but still tasty. • Kadai Goat Curry – Another well-prepared dish with robust flavors. • Garlic Naan – Soft, fresh, and complemented the curries very well. Ambiance & Service The ambiance is simple yet pleasant – not overly fancy but comfortable for groups. Service was fast and attentive throughout our meal. Final Thoughts This place is a paradise for spice lovers. Most dishes come in varying spice levels, but I personally preferred the spicier versions. For vegetarians, Curry Leaf Gobi and Karapodi Gobi are the clear standouts. The Paneer dishes were just average. Overall, a great dining experience with excellent service and standout flavors in many dishes – especially the non-vegetarian options.

Update 2: they now know the formula to cater the local crowd! I love going back here with no worry about a compromise in quality or change in taste! Update 1: There was a big difference between week 1&2 to week 4. Now the taste is good and even better, it’s consistent. Biryani for vegetarian lovers should be ordered mild and their salan on the sides adds the necessary missing spice kick! My order when I posted initial review was spicy and I didn’t like it. Tandoor items continue to be good. Naan is soft and thin; perfectly done. Will post a final update after a couple more orders about the consistency of taste! Initial Review: Tried it two times. Taste was not up to the mark. I have had great expectations since I know their food from Charlotte location but this location does not live upto the expectations. Chili baby corn and Manchurian taste like ketchup. That’s it. That’s the major taste which will kill your appetite right away. Naan is good. Tandoor items are good. Paneer Biryani is average. Rice was dry and paneer doesn’t have a great taste. Almost feels as if it’s just made without marination. May be I should try double masala to make it juicy and not dry. Helpful owners and staff.

We recently visited Persis Indian Grill and tried a variety of dishes. For appetizers, we ordered the Samosa, Gobi Manchurian, and Onion Pakora. The samosa and pakora were okay, but the standout was definitely the Gobi Manchurian — flavorful, and well-seasoned. For our main course, we had the Chicken Saag, Chicken dum biryani, and Lamb Tikka Masala — all bursting with flavor. We ordered everything at a medium spice level, but be warned: it was very spicy, so choose your spice level carefully if you’re sensitive to heat. The restaurant itself has a clean, modern interior which makes for a pleasant dining atmosphere. However, the service could use some improvement. We had to remind the staff multiple times for basic items, and one of the appetizers came out with the main entrees while the biryani came out only after we had nearly finished our meal- throwing off the flow of the meal. Better coordination in the kitchen and among the servers would go a long way. Persis has good food and a pleasant atmosphere, but the service issues and timing delays hold it back from being a top-tier experience. Hopefully, with a few adjustments, it can live up to its full potential.

I recently visited Presis restaurant with high hopes of enjoying a delicious meal, but unfortunately, my experience left much to be desired. My order of Mutton Roast Palav ended up being a disappointing mix of rice and masala, rather than the flavorful palav I was expecting. When I brought this to the attention of the staff, I was assured that they would rectify the mistake, but unfortunately, the same issue occurred during a subsequent visit.

What disappointed me even more was the response from the restaurant staff. Instead of taking responsibility for the oversight and offering a satisfactory resolution, I was met with a simple apology and a dismissive attitude from the owners. It was evident that they prioritized commercial interests over customer satisfaction, leaving me feeling undervalued as a patron.

Overall, my experience at Presis restaurant was far from satisfactory. The food failed to meet my expectations, and the lack of accountability and customer service left a sour taste in my mouth. I would hesitate to recommend this restaurant to others, as there are plenty of other dining options available that prioritize quality and customer satisfaction. ———————————

Thank you for your response. While I understand the challenges of operating close to closing time, I must clarify some points regarding my recent experience at your restaurant.

I appreciate your acknowledgment of my disappointment with the Mutton Roast Pulav, especially considering its high ratings. As a returning customer who enjoyed the dish previously, I naturally expected a similar experience during my subsequent visit. However, the significant disparity in taste and quality was unexpected.

Regarding the timing of my visit, I want to clarify that I arrived well before your closing time and was assured by your staff that dining in was still an option. Despite the kitchen nearing closure, I placed my order with the understanding that I would receive the same level of quality and flavor that I had come to expect.

Unfortunately, despite expressing my preference for the Palav and being assured that it would be prepared satisfactorily, the outcome fell short of expectations. I understand that inconsistencies can occur, but I believe it's essential for customers to receive the same level of care and attention regardless of the timing or...

Any other time I come here I have no problems. Today the service was horrible. My server was the only one on the floor while two other staff members sat, ate and watched him scramble. I know they were employees because I’ve seen them there many times before and one of them sat me before he retired to the booth for my entire stay and the both retrieved to the kitchen towards the end of my visit. My server was so busy he was clearly not even washing his hands from the amount of sauce and cilantro hanging from his fingers that I saw towards the end when he handed me my Togo box and bag (that I waited 15 minutes for). A party of 4 was sat after me and had their order taken before mine that was honestly the first red flag. I asked for a straw the moment he sat my water with no ice down (that I didn’t ask for. I’ve gotten water with ice here plenty of times before so I’m not sure why that was assumed). Needless to say that the straw was never received nor was the Pepsi I was charged for and never given. I had to ask for a receipt after I paid to clarify that I was charged for something I never got. I had to ask for it togo. I order the goat biriyani all the time and it usually comes with an egg, that I also never received until after I was already done with my meal and had paid. If you truly want to enjoy this place I suggest not going on the weekends or during lunch hours to avoid an experience like...
