first time here, i got a 14" pepperoni pizza for $23. i was really hungry so i didnt leave even though their menu on here says that item is supposedly $18.75...
i asked the guy there if they were aware of the price discrepency & he said they list different prices on their menu & said "someone else mustve just made up these prices" on google maps...im pretty sure anyone cant just log in & edit your business profile on google. if it was my restaurant, i wouldve offered a discount for the price difference then immediately updated the menu so it doesnt happen again...but im sort of suspicious they dont mind baiting people with the lower price then playing dumb when they come in. i guess you can get away with that in lake oswego.
anyway, got my pizza & left. id like to say it was good for the price, but there were 2 problems:
the outer edge was burned, which was a bummer because i usually start at the crust.
& 2nd, i couldnt stop thinking to myself that it was salty for some reason, i think in the crust. i cant remember ever having a salty pizza before.
the people are nice enough, & theres arcade games & decent seating & parking..but theres places with better pizza...
Read moreOrdered a pizza via phone around 7pm on a Thursday for delivery. Told it would be 45 to 60 minutes. Around 8:30 decided to call and ask when it would arrive. No answer after multiple calls, turns out they close at 8 even though the website says 9. Left a message but haven't heard back after a few days.
Thankfully my money was refunded that night when I checked my bank app.I'm sure the only reason they returned my money is so they wouldn't have to hear from me. A call would have been nice so I wasn't having to scrounge for food at 9pm.
At the time was in the middle of a block of 12hr shifts at the hospital and have an infant at home that doesn't like to sleep. If I wrote this review that evening it would not be nearly this kind. Literally a heads up you weren't coming and that would...
Read moreI read all the reviews and decided to give Deno’s a try. I’m glad I did because I would’ve miss out on the best pizza in Portland. Forget the less positive reviews. I spoke with the owners who are always present and are the nicest people who care about their customers. I appreciate the mom & pop experience along with really good food that’s not micro measured down to the gram to maximize profits. The pizzas I ordered were hand made with fresh ingredients including dough. If you long for the days when pizza was good this is your place. This place is very clean, seats about 50 people and is reasonably priced. I ordered two extra-large and one large pizza with 4 drinks total $50.00 feed 4 people with enough left over for lunch the next day for all of us. I will be a regular...
