First off, this is not a regular Goodwill - it's a "boutique." This means it sells fancier donated items that the sorting people pick out during the sorting / pricing process. I was told they generally try to price things here at 25% of what the original price would have been.
This means there are a wide range of prices here. You can get cashmere sweaters for as little as $30, or you can find Chanel shoes for $500. It just depends on what has been donated. With the super fancy stuff, I just think wow, how generous of someone to donate this!! The cheapest price I've seen here is $15.
They have a wide variety of things but they always concentrate on what is seasonal, and there's no kid clothing or toys. Just adult clothing, accessories, and limited home items.
I shop here every few weeks. Things I see on a regular basis:
Necklaces are $17-20 and plentiful. Other jewelry too.
Designer purses of every size and color
In cold months, men's Pendleton shirts for $50 each
There's always at least one Coach leather messenger bag in the men's section
Lots of wonderful shoes, boots, sandals. I got some Fluevog boots there last time
The kinds of brands I usually see here: Coach Tory Burch Kate Spade Sorel Free People (after the Hawthorne boutique closed down, this brand gets sent to this one now) Nike (fancy stuff) Lots of brands from Anthropologie Vince Pendleton
The employees here are always SO nice and mostly the same group has staffed it since they opened. There are only 2 dressing rooms so sometimes there's a little wait. During COVID you can try on things here They quarantine anything that gets tried on but not purchased for a few days so that's really nice.
I LOVE shopping here. Once in a while I buy one thing here, and personally I'd rather buy one thing here I really love instead of 5 lower quality items from a...
Read moreFirst time here. I never even knew these places existed!!! For a Goodwill it is expensive. However, the Goodwill stores are usually all expensive nowadays. But, you will definitely find many Brand name clothing, shoes, accessories and other treasures. I did find a Jacket and a Purse. The price was descent considering they are both Michael Kors. Customer serviceâŚ. I came in with my daughter and a Caucasian lady saw us come in and took a good look at us and said NOTHING. In general employees wonât deter me from shopping at stores so Iâm not sure if she judged or simply has no customer service skills or atleast some manners. My daughter and I proceeded to shop in the meantime I did hear her welcoming other people and being joyful. Hmm⌠when we were done shopping an Asian woman checked us out and was super nice and humble. I would definitely be back for the...
Read moreWent today to go shopping with a few friends, was immediately approached by an older woman who was an employee who went on a weird round about tangent insinuating that none of us could afford anything in the store. Right after she finally stopped talking she went to the back with another employee and we could hear them talking about how we weren't going to buy anything, that empty store echoes a lot considering they problem scare away all their customers. Then 2 of the other associates followed us around very obviously the entire time, even after it was clear we were all buying several items. My friends and I are young and perhaps they assumed we were teenagers but regardless it was rude and unnecessary needless to say we will not...
