Atotonilco Taqueria — Restaurant in Lake Township

Read my comment please people do not eat here this restaurant fell off big time 7-15 years ago they were good but now it's sad the taco meat has no seasoning at all just plain meat tacos with lettuce and tomato it tasted so nasty even the torta is trash they give you some kind of burnt steak it's not made fresh like other restaurants this is more over burnt crispy type milanesa meat idk it's disgusting this torta is dry and no seasoning either on the meat so your eating dry bread and plain tasting meat it's so nasty I should've known when I came in the meat was just sitting on the stove dude just warm it up for a few minutes and slapped it on the bread all sloppy I wanted to cancel my order right there ...but gave them a chance because Im Mexican and I support my people but this place is super trash the cookers need to be fired no passion no flavor burnt meat I remember years ago the tacos were good and the torta had flavor that was about 7 years ago it was somewhat okay but now this is not the place to spend your money what's the point of being open till 4am if the food is flavorless it was so gross do not waste your money here this restaurant needs to be closed permanently ❌🤢 there is so many better Mexican restaurants...

Tacos are good but customer service was terrible. I ordered four steak tacos, only cheese on the phone. When I got there he told us we only ordered two and then only ordered one more for us as if we didn’t order four at first. Then after waiting fifteen minutes longer than they said to pick up the order, when we got home with the food we had the wrong order! We got three steak tacos with lettuce and tomato. When we drove back there and told them about our wrong order, they didn’t do anything about it. We ended up arguing about what we ordered. Instead of taking responsibility for giving us the wrong order, we ended up leaving with nothing to eat. Not only that, but we paid for four tacos to begin with and only got change for three tacos. We also only got change back for three regular tacos, not including the additional charge of cheese. By the time we got back to the store, 50 minutes have passed since we ordered. Even though they gave us the wrong order, they didn’t care to give us the right one; claiming that we didn’t order right...

I live in the neighborhood and frequent this location a lot. When I came in on New Year’s Day and saw that there was a dog tied up, barking outside and cold weather. I asked them if they could call 311 so someone could come get the dog and help him. They told me they had no phone service even though someone called their phone and they answered right in front of me. They did not care and they didn’t want help get a tied up dog off the street that was tied up next to them. One of their employees even made the comment and said it’s not that cold. It’ll be OK. This is the type of business that does neighborhood support. For them to place a phone call for animal services refuse to. If I had signal, I would’ve done it myself. They like humanity in...
