Love the atmosphere! The ladies are lovely they take care of you soon as you walk through the door. Sopes are a pretty decent size for one person . All of the plates we got were pretty big ! Asada tacos were very flavorful. The arroz was a bit salty but honestly still good. They serve you chips and salsa , and a tiny bowl of soup to get you started. It was a nice day here very full didn’t even finish all my food so I get to take it home for later..
UPDATE THE WAITRESS SUDDENLY GOT CONDESCENDING BC WHEN SHE SAW MY REVIEW SHE SAID I SHOULDVE GAVE YOU MY NAME 😒 so she got upset about not making this review about her.. then i asked her if I should tip her directly or drop it in the tip jar near her. I wasn’t sure if I should leave it on the table as there was many street wise guys walking in and out looking for change or to sell you socks .. she said which ever is fine.. when I dropped the tip in the jar (safer choice I thought) she said well everyone shares that but whatever all good again with attitude. She gave me my receipt with a barcode on it and then when I tell her I’m done paying she gets frustrated again because she says that barcode isn’t activated.. Hun, how would I know that? Next time let people know you can’t pay with the barcode before just leaving it on the table and walking away for several minutes.. I got up and was nice enough to walk over to her because I thought she was busy? It wasn’t until I made the review (you get 10% off if you write a review) that she started showing her true colors.. that was probably the worst way to end a nice meal. It was all great until I showed her the review without her name in it, not giving her the tip directly to her, and not paying her the tab instead of using the barcode on the receipt( that clearly says you can pay with this barcode).Definitely not interested in...
Read moreWent with my family for lunch, it was pretty busy. We weren’t greeted by someone and no sign if we seat ourselves or if we have to wait to be seated. Had to get the attention of the waitresses. We got to our table and the waitress asked what we would like to drink we had never been there before and were not given a menu until I asked for it. Menus were brought and we said we needed some time to order. We placed our order. We waited over an hour for our food, the waitress came by 3 or 4 times stating your order should be coming out. Then the waitress came and asked what we had ordered I was confused and I asked why she said our order was lost or misplaced. I was upset but I understand mistakes happen we’re human. The manager noticed we had been waiting and asked another waitress to come check what we needed and I explained what happened and we were waiting for our order and then our food finally arrived, waitress apologized for the confusion. We each got a fork wrapped in a napkin and a paper wrapped around. I opened my fork only to find what looked like a small dead roach, I was disgusted. I got the attention from the lady who makes the tortilla if I can have a new fork, a man brought me a different one and the lady took the one with the bug. Only to open it and also have some type of bug it was smooshed and dead too. Great, luckily we were given an extra one so I used that one instead. I tried eating my food but was so disgusted I took my food home. When my partner went to pay he had ordered a dish and the menu said one price when he paid it was a different price a $5 difference and asked why the cashier said the price changed but not in the menu. The only part I enjoyed there was the live music. Beware. I wish I would have taken pictures...
Read moreNeighborhood restaurant, greeted with the amazing smell of homemade tortillas being made upon entering the location. Typical Mexican restaurant decor, nice treat to hear a resident karaoke singer (accepts tips). Were provided chips w/3 chile sauces (green, red, and a jalapeno sauce). Waitress ask for drink order, I always ask for water, which I received a slight eye roll :-( but table did also order the Horchata. when asked about the soup of the day, waitress advised the same as the complimentary soup, although we were not provided any complimentary soup :-( Ordered the steak quesadilla, and Tricolor Fajitas and Bowl of house soup (vegetable w/elbow macaroni). The homemade tortilla for the quesadilla was tasty and a great size to be completely satisfied. :-) The tricolored fajitas were well served, and seasoned perfectly also served with homemade tortillas. The soup was average, needed better seasoning but well balanced ratio of noodles to vegetables. Horchata was average, not to sweet. Check was about 45 Good will go back when in the area or on Friday evenings when they have...
