BETTY'S Ice Cream — Restaurant in Lake Township

We came on a Thursday evening, line wasn’t too bad but when I tell you this had been the best soft serve! I had a share of good ice creams but this one by far has been THE BEST, the flavor and price are unmatched. The entire experience from start to finish is amazing. The couple who owns the shop treated me and my family like their own family and reassured us when ordering. We seen the viral video of the upside down banana split and here’s my take. Arrrived at 9:10pm, closes at 10pm. Waited in line until 10:40pm only for the daughter to start YELLING “guys we closed at 10! We have to close, we don’t have anything anymore” which is fine and great for their bussiness that they ran out of ice cream. The problem is, if we arrive almost an hour before closing and we’re told nothing at 10pm about leaving or a line cutoff then that’s lacking in communication. The daughter had a nasty attitude when telling her that we waited 1.5hours in line and that they should’ve said something. She just yelled we closed at 10pm. Hope their bussiness continues to grow for her parents but overall the daughter was rude and terrible...

We stopped by here as they had great reviews and wanted to check them out for dessert after our lunch at a taco joint. Our order was placed through the walk-up street window. We noticed that many of the items we saw online, weren’t available on their menu. We decided to order three sundaes. We wanted chocolate ice cream with them.
