Subway — Restaurant in Lake Township

TERRIBLE SERVICE. My friend and I were here on lunch break when we heard the sandwich maker, Raju, yelling at a young black male who didn’t do anything to receive that type of response. He wanted extra meat on his sandwich so he was yelling at him about that AND he made him pay for the extra meat before he finished making the sandwich. After the young man paid for the sandwich, Raju was trying to make the sandwich without putting the extra meat on it so the young man said “don’t you have to heat that up first?” And pointed to the chicken. Raju starts yelling again basically telling him he doesn’t know what he’s talking about and he’s gonna put the meat on after the toppings. At this point, myself, my friend, and another customer intervene because the way he was talking to the customer was ridiculous. He dropped the tray that the sandwiches go on, on the floor but didn’t wash it off and threatened to call the police on us for telling him he was wrong. The young man had already paid so he took his sandwich but the rest of us left. I refuse to spend my money somewhere where the color of my skin isn’t valued as much as my money is. People working here a very rude and disrespectful. They also have a new fresh mozzarella option for cheese that they charge $1.50 for but they did not take time out to actually have this printed any where in the menu so one would assume it be a regular charge along with the other cheeses but nope, they will add the extra charge without any warning or notice and get an attitude if you point out the fact that no where in the restaurant is there a price associated with the fresh mozzarella. So overall they are very unprofessional and lazy and shouldn’t be allowed to operate in this community and should set up shop...

I don't know if this establishment decided not to do chopped salads but when I ordered one they stated that they don't have a chopping bowl or chopper. They also did not have spinach or avocoda/guacamole. I understand that working with the public is difficult, however, when this is the type of job you have chosen please be polite and courteous and most importantly patient when servicing customers that are patronizing/spending their money with your place of business in all...
