URGENT ATTENTION NEEDED FOR ONGOING ISSUES AT KEDZIE LOCATION
I would like to bring to the attention of the managers and owner of the Dunkin' Donuts location at Kedzie, near the USPS offices, a persistent issue that has been affecting customers for several months. As a resident of the area, I frequently visit this establishment every other day to purchase refreshing beverages for myself and my family.
However, for the last few months, the staff has been rejecting both cash and card transactions at the drive-thru and walk-up windows during the hours of 1 PM to 7 PM, citing shift changes as the reason. They have informed customers that while orders placed through the app can be fulfilled, many drinks with various ingredients are often unavailable due to equipment malfunctions.
This situation is particularly frustrating, as I have encountered discrepancies in what can and cannot be made. For instance, while they claim they cannot prepare a Collatta drink, they readily offer a Strawberry Smoothie, both of which are made using a blender. It seems that the staff prioritizes simpler orders for their convenience, rather than accommodating customer requests.
This behavior not only reflects a lack of diligence but also negatively impacts the business by driving away customers who would prefer to make purchases in person rather than through the app. As a regular patron, I have observed a significant number of cars leaving without placing orders, which ultimately affects revenue for the establishment.
I hope this feedback prompts the management to address these ongoing issues and consider implementing changes to improve service quality. Thank you for your attention to...
Read moreI come to this Dunkin location practically every day and get the same cold brew every single time. Never had an issue before. But these past few weeks I’ve been noticing some inconsistency like: wait times going up from waiting like 3 minutes to almost 25 minutes. Fine no big deal I guess I can live with that. But my last two back to back visits the service and the cold brews were absolutely horrible. I order through my mobile app all the time and when I went through the drive thru I received my order tried the cold brew and it was absolutely awful. They put barely any dairy in it, none of my liquid sugar, and the coffee? Was beyond burnt and bitter. I went inside and waited maybe 8 minutes before someone came to help me and asked the employee nicely if she could remake the two drinks for me because they were very burnt and bitter. (Definitely not worth spending $9 for.) She goes to remake them and I guess she was annoyed at having to do it again because I hear her commenting loudly about it with her coworkers. Whatever. She gave them back to me with such an attitude and I should’ve just asked for a refund at that point but I took the fixed coffees and left. I go back today and I still mobile order my usual and when we get them just looking at it again I know it’s going to be another bad experience. The cold brew was probably 98% oat milk and maybe a dash of espresso? Didn’t even bother trying to go in to get them fixed just dumped them out and out another $9 for nothing. If they can remember a customer’s name or face why can’t they remember to make a simple cold brew? What’s the point of the measurement lines and...
Read moreI arrived to the restaurant during the hours of operation to find that the front door was locked despite the fact that there were employees inside. Two female employees were busy sitting in a parked car in the Dunkin Donuts parking lot smoking marijuana on company property. Once they exited the car, I asked one of the female employees if they worked at the restaurant and she informed me that they did. I asked if she would unlock the front door and she did. After entering, I asked why the front door was locked and she told me that there was no one available to service customers in the front of the restaurant. I asked if there was a manager on duty and she told me there was not. I asked what her name was and she told me that it was 'Janet' despite the receipt showing that the employee name listed was 'Evelin' with the accompanying employee ID number showing 614424.
I'm sure that such conduct is not conducive to running a business. Allowing employees to lock doors during hours of operation effectively turns away customers. Allowing employees to smoke marijuana on company property is bad for business. Allowing employees to work while under the influence of marijuana is terrible for the reputation of your business. I hope this issue will be...
