Mariscos Luisito - Best Mexican Seafood — Restaurant in Lake Township

I went to get a shrimp and octopus cocktail, it was all good, and then I order a tostada de ceviche, and then I order some empanadas, and then I order a pescado Sarandeado (huachinango) i’ve been doing this for the last 25 years twice a month and this is the first time I get this garbage served, I told the the waitress and the owners son about it, and they act like that’s the way the fish taste and smells burnt, I couldn’t believe my eyes. I’ve been having it for years they know me I send it back to the kitchen for the cook to check it and they say that was the way it is supposed to be burnt. Service it’s declining all these girls new girls all they do is talking to his shoulder and staying on the phone behind the counter, all day care it’s about the people coming in, and once you there they take your order and they forget about you. I’m so sorry I have to write these reviews after almost 25 years of going there all the time I’m very sad of the new service or the new management. I can’t even believe it. Full of life and taste! The best, freshest flavors, in Chicago are here. Mariscos Luis, located in Archer Heights. It will bring you joy with every bite you take. Every single time i drove by the place was always packed! So finally this weekend was my chance to come to this place and taste the food. As I enter the restaurant the vibe was calm and it felt like Mexico. Music was playing and the friendly waitress came to our table and took my order pretty fast. I looked at the menu and so many options to choose from but finally decided to order the Salpicon and a glass bottle cold Coke. The Salpicon is a serve-cold dish it comes with peeled shrimp, octopus, crab meat, and oysters in a special house sauce with onions, It kinda looks like ceviche. I grabbed a tostada and add it a spoon of the salpicon and when i took the bite, the millions of distinctive colorful flavors of the dish punched my tongue with so much power that i was mesmerized by it.
