I pulled into the drive-through, which was empty, and waited at the intercom. After saying hello, I was told to “give them a minute,” even though there were no cars ahead of me. When I finally got a response, the employee asked what I wanted. I gave my mobile order code, but he ignored me and asked again what I wanted. I repeated the code, and his reply—given with attitude—was, “What do you want?”
At that point, I was frustrated with the poor service and told him I didn’t want anything anymore. His response again carried attitude. I drove up to the window to ask for a manager, but none of the employees would respond. Eventually, a young lady came over—though I highly doubt she was the actual manager. I asked for the drive-through employee’s name, and she refused to give it. She only gave me her own name.
When I requested the owner-operator’s information, she went inside for quite a while before returning with just a receipt and a phone number, still refusing to provide the owner’s name. I ended up having to call corporate while sitting in the drive-through to escalate the issue, and I’m still waiting on a call back from management.
If you’re traveling through Midway Airport, do yourself a favor and skip this location. Poor service, dismissive employees, and likely poor food quality as well. You’ll have a better experience across the street at the new Taco Bell, where service and food are...
Read moreThis used to be a great place to go especially if you lived in the neighborhood. A lot of people would come, order their food or drink... And be able to sit as long as they wanted and enjoy the WiFi or reading the newspaper or just seeing friends from the neighborhood. Since rebuilding.. There are people who have been coming here 20 years plus who refuse to come anymore. In order to even be inside the building you are required to order something or you are asked to leave. And if you think you're going to be there longer than 30 min... Think again. You have a police officer regulating everyone's time inside dining... Or trying to. And make absolutely sure you don't make the mistake of closing your eyes or you just might be charged with a felony. And to top things off.. to get hired or to receive good service.. You better be Hispanic.. They have become an all Hispanic staff (and are obviously racist) This is no longer a family restaurant... It is just... Give us your money... And leave. I personally have been permanently banned because I fell asleep one to many times. I have been coming here with my husband pretty much every day for the past 5 years...I would rather travel to the other side of Chicago than to even step foot in this place. No.. This is not just a sour review because I am no longer welcome there... Many many people feel the same way I do.....
Read moreI’m not one to complain but this McDonald’s has the worst customer service. I won’t be coming back here, every time I come they mess my order. The first time I ordered a mix sprite at the drive through and got carbonated water. When we came back they said the ran out of mix sprite, instead of telling us they gave us carbonated water. They gave us another soda but that could of easily been handled while ordering. Second time I ordered a medium fries and didn’t get them. Before I left the drive though I asked the guy if everything in the bag and he said it was since it was snowing and I wanted to get going I believed him and didn’t check. When I checked the fries weren’t there so I called and asked if I had to go back that day to get a refund since it was snowing harder. She said I didn’t wrote my name down and said I didn’t have to bring my receipt next time I came. I was told to ask for the manager and I’d get a credited for it and an apple pie. The next morning I came and the manager was super rude told me I needed the receipt and I wouldn’t get a refund or an exchange when I told her my name was written down by another employee she didn’t listen and didn’t check. I was upset since by then I didn’t want the fries just my money back. I only got the fries no apple...
