When I arrived to McDonald’s it was busy, and I figured I’d be waiting a while, oh well. I was told to pull ahead and wait for 2 mcchickens and a large Coke. It was busy, I didn’t mind the guy in back drive and the lady in the presenting window was super nice and told me there would be a wait and to pull ahead, so I did. I really didn’t wait to long, but the person bringing out my food, the one with the lazy eye the best I can describe her handed me the wrong order, and now I realize I should have probably just taken it, but I was honest and received an extra sandwich. She handed mine to another person waiting for his food and I saw him physically touch the sandwiches because I was curious as to if the small bag she handed to him could have been my mcchickens. Sure enough it was. She tried to hand me the food he already touched and I refused it. When I said I worked at McDonald’s before and know procedure she said “whatever I’ll just have them throw them in new wrappers”. Whether I was supposed to hear that or not I responded back with or maybe make them fresh like the proper procedure is supposed to be? I got home and was entirely disappointed. The food was definitely not fresh and I believe it’s probably just the same sandwiches which makes me disgusted. During a time of Covid or any other time this is not acceptable. I never have issues when I go, there’s been a few times my order was messed up, but it was actually remade fresh, but I think after this time I’m completely done with McDonald’s on S. Main. I guess if we want McDonald’s I’ll drive clear across town or get it in another town.
I did call the manager and told her about the situation. She was very friendly and she offered to remake it for me, but I was told to believe it was already remade. The staff all seemed pretty friendly except for the one bringing out the food. No need to be so bitter and try to make me out to be a liar when I saw someone else handle my food. Read moreI wasn't sure I wanted to make this review but ultimately have decided to. A couple of weeks ago I pulled up to the Drive through around 7:15PM. I was getting my 4 year old a happy meal. We Ordered at the drive through since dine-in was closed. We got to where there was one car in front of us before we reached the window to pay when a guy came out and told us they close at 8pm and we had to leave! Mind you we had been in line nearly 45 minutes and it was actually 5 minutes till 8 and not 8 yet and we literally already ordered! Why did we wait 45 minutes in a drive-thru line? Because my 4 yo loves happy meals! But we were turned away and when I told him it wasn't 8 yet, we were next and we ordered already his response was "Yeah I know, weird huh." And he then told everyone else behind us the same and the poor person that was in front of us ready to pay. So we left. Needless to say I'm going to find out who owns this franchise and we aren't going to be visiting their locations any longer. I used to manage in food service and I still work in customer server to this day. You don't turn away people that have been in line before you close. Order was submitted to wrong store (south)so had to drive 10 minutes back to other side of town as I went the North store. Got to other store pulled into space 4. Hit " im here "on the app. app said error go inside due to error. Walked in cold & flurries to find the door locked. Walked around to other side of building still on windy /cold /flurries to find that door also locked. Googled phone number as there was no number on the error message in the app as it said to go inside the store. Called store. Male worker answered. I said I was outside and could see him talking to me and he said sorry ma'am the lobby is closed. I said yes I see you talking to me I'm calling due to error on mobile order that told me to come inside. He asked for my name and found my order...by now its been 1/2hr since I put in my order. He said yes I see your order go back to your car and we will bring it right out. 11 minutes later got burnt food now almost 50 minutes since I wanted "fast food" using the "fast easy " app! .......
