Been here 3 times on my way to the orange line, I always get 2 breads, one to eat on the walk to work and back. Yesterday, I went in and got my two pieces, I’m waiting in line and the girl behind the counter services the man behind me first even though I was ahead? Makes sense to them to service the customer that’s paying more than the one worth two pieces, I guess.
The disgusting part is when they let one of their customer friends, dirty with a visibly dirty work coat on go BEHIND the counter and to where the baker was making the bread 🤢🤢🤢🤢🤢🤢🤢🤢🤢🤢🤢🤢🤢🤢🤢🤢🤢🤢🤢🤢🤢🤢🤢🤢🤢🤢 i was disgusted. This man was visibly DIRTY from some sort of outside work.
This is the LAST time I ever buy from there. For discrimination and for uncleanliness. I went outside and threw the bread into the cta trash can. And to make matters worse the girl behind the counter commented on my bitten/scratched hands and asked what happened I told her it was my sisters cat and she answered with “beat it”. This place is literally so disgusting. The bread is small too, so it isn’t even worth it. I was gonna buy one of the packaged boxes of bread for the church posadas and I’m glad I didn’t.
WISH I HAD TAKEN A PICTURE OF THE DIRTY MAN INSIDE THE KITCHEN...
Read moreI've been buying bread from this bakery for over two years now and have had a great experience. When it comes to conchas, I can be very picky. I enjoy a concha with a soft interior balanced with a contrasting exterior. I do think this bakery delivers with their conchas, whether you like chocolate or vanilla. Their conchas are very awesome and words can only describe how much I enjoy these wonderful things! The cool thing about this bakery is that they offer two sizes for their conchas. The standard size and then mini conchas which are quite adorable, lol! So, if you're looking for a spot with great conchas, visit this friendly little bakery in Archer Heights. Plus, their staff is super friendly. Hope you enjoy as much I do (and p.s. just had a vanilla concha before writing this...
Read moreThe worker Fabiola is very rude, didn’t bother to say hi to me but as soon as others walked in she greeted them.. such hospitality.. when I was ready to pay she completely ignored me but was right in front of me ?? When I took my receipt she says with much attitude “ that’s not yours” and then proceeds to call me dumb? I called the place after I left and tried getting the name of the manger or the owner to talk to them about their horrible selection of employee she tells me she can’t give names or numbers of the manager which is very dumb, never heard of a business that runs under that policy. As a costumer who has been to this location for many years that’s no way to treat your local customers especially if you’re a...
