Super Star & Gyros — Restaurant in Lake Township

The staff working here is racist and rude !!!! They are all Hispanics and I am African American. When I ate here the other day it was very hot outside, I ordered my food and asked the guy could he open the door etc. he told me no and that bugs might come in. He was standoffish and rude. Today I’m back to pick up my car but I have to wait again so I went in the restaurant again. Once again these guys were nasty and rude. I’m ordering my food and the cook is just staring at me looking crazy all while I’m placing my order. A white male customer comes in and says it’s hot, and he flips on the ceiling fan right away !!!! I asked the exact same thing but had to eat in the heat!!!! I don’t know if the problem was that I’m African American or that I’m a woman . He then comes out and proceeded to argue with me in front of the other customers. Needless to say I Will Not be supporting this establishment again. Please don’t waste your time or money in this...

Terrible Experience – Food Poisoning Alert

I had an extremely disappointing and concerning experience at this restaurant. On December 17,2024, I ordered a double cheeseburger with grilled onions, seasoned fries with cheese, and a Sprite. Right away, the fries tasted overly greasy and unpleasant, and the burger tasted off. I took a few bites and threw the rest away because it was inedible.

Later that evening, I became violently ill with severe vomiting, diarrhea, stomach pain, and nausea that lasted throughout the night and the following day. I could barely sleep due to constant discomfort. This illness disrupted my life, leaving me dehydrated and unable to function properly. Even calling off work!

This place is AWESOME from the customer service to the food!!! Jose greeted me as soon as I walked through the door and was patient with me being it was my first time. I ordered the philly cheese steak combo and I was very satisfied. Steak was well seasoned, bread was soft and the natural cut fries were amazing. Even the root beer soda tasted very refreshing and my wait time was less than 10 minutes!! To say the least, I'll be back!! Thank you Jose...
