47th Street Summertime Cantina — Restaurant in Lake Township

I am very happy I took the chance to check out Summertime Cantina on my night off. The staff was extremely inviting and nice- made you feel welcomed to ask questions or look for suggestions. I enjoyed a couple of margaritas by bartender Omar and they were bomb! The best part was the food of course though. The birria dinner was very very good- rich in flavor and generous portion! A great addition to the back of yards -- you really do feel like you've stepped away from 47th street and into a nice, calm, fun little cantina. We enjoyed our drinks (I will always order something with yuzu in it), my kids really liked the chips and salsa (and the steak tacos), and the waiter was friendly and welcoming.
